We visited this absolute great balti curry house
This really good place served excellent starters and main courses the staff-owner was so polite and helpfull and the cost of the well prepared food was cheap for what we got to eat
5 stars deserved to be given

Very fast service. We were still finishing off our starters when the main meal arrived the food was really lovely although we did find the madras very hot
But that might be just us it could have been perfect for other people.
The starters of kebabs was perfect.
The waiter very polite and friendly. We went at 12.30 pm and the pace was spotless clean and tidy by 1pm it was quite busy . After coming out of the pub I would recommend going there to eat.

So Sharma do an early bird wow got the mixed kebab and a keema curry with chapatis really fantastic curry snd starter only £10 absolute bargain I did pick up myself but it definitely worth a try

Just had a meal here it was amazing one of the best Indian meals We’ve had in a long time staff very friendly couldn’t do enough for us but most importantly the food was hot and fresh and tasty definitely would recommend if your in the area and excellent discounts thank for such a lovely experience 😊😊😊

Very nice meal served with chappati and rice. Menu not immediately recognisable but dishes were familiar and very tasty. Would definitely recommend and you can bring your own bottle! Good prices. Staff attentive.

I returned to the Sharma in Shipley after an absence of some 20 years and was interested to see if it was as good as I had remembered it. Well... Yes and no. My brother and I asked for poppadoms and were given 3(!) which were stale and soft. My three starters of onion bhaji, seekh kebab and sharmi kebab came without separate little salads, not like they used to all those years ago. My brothers chicken pakora was very bland - I was getting anxious as to what our keema vindaloos and chapatis would be like - I needn't have worried, the chapatis were hot and fresh and the curries were spicy and full of flavour. A mixed bag then, but on the whole I would recommend it. Just avoid the poppadoms...

First time there, so not sure what to expect. Poppadoms with pickle tray to start, not rushed by waiter, so relaxed eating. 4 Fish pakoras excellent, really tasty, others had seikh kebabs, spicy & flavoursome. Chicken kashmiri for me tasty but a bit too spicy for me. Others had hot chicken dishes all very tasty with plenty of rice, chapatis & large garlic naan. Generous portions, with tea lights to keep curries warm, nice touch. Will go again, I'm sure but will ask for a milder curry next time.
