Sumo Sushi

we went there because have groupon deal. the meal was OK but lack flavor, at the end when we were about to leave my friend ask for a to go box to take the rest of her food home. after she put her food in the food in the box we got our bill and there's a five dollar charge on bill when we asked what was it for the waitress said it's a five dollar charge we charge since we asked for the to go box for a groupon deal. I was like what the hack, we did dine in and there's nothing saying you will get charge for five bucks for getting a take out box. I wouldn't go back again even for normal price for the food not even worth it for the price.

We came across this place because my daughter LOVES sushi, and we were heading back to the Edmonds ferry from Seattle Children's Hospital, and it was on the way. We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh the sushi was and how friendly the owners were. So, we decided to return there after our next appointment, three weeks later. We walked in, and sat down at a table, then the owner came out and saw us, came over to the table, welcomed us, asked us if we had another appointment, and told us she hoped it went well. She brought us more amazing sushi, very fresh, and remembered what we liked to drink. When we mentioned that we liked kim-chee, she brought us some of her homemade kim-chee to have with our meal, and it was awesome. Overall, we felt very comfortable and welcome in this little restaurant, We were served excellent sushi, well prepared and fresh, as well treated wonderfully by the owners. After living in LA for a number of years and dining at some amazing sushi restaurants, I am very happy to have found this restaurant, and have to say this will definitely become a regular stop for us!
