Bistro On The Boulevard

I took my best friend to dinner here for his birthday last Saturday evening. I got the steak frites and my friend tried the veal. They knew it was a reservation for a birthday so they made him a dessert plate for free, they even had a card signed by all the staff. Our server Bob was a sweetheart. Food was great, service was even better. Thanks Bob and chef Cheryl you guys are awesome!

I was able to Enjoy the last nice weekend and sunset on St.Joseph in Michigan in The Boulevard Inn & Bistro. Hotels are priced through the weekend but you work hard to play harder 🤫😎 this review is about the restaurant on the main floor of this hotel! 10% discount for anyone how's stays for the night. The patio is always a big plus for any restaurant or bar. Because the weather was fabulous we decided to stay outside and have dinner on the patio, drinks were ok my mojito was not that good but every place had a different receipt I got it, and as an appetizer we took scallops and the was delicious!! Bit too salty but very delicious, and as main try I try lamb burger - and that was my first time to try it and was ok / I think I prefer a regular beef burger 😅, menu is big and many things to try but this will happen next time!

It was really good to enjoy a great breakfast! Located in Saint Jospeh, Michigan, the restaurant was worth experiencing. The view is right on Lake Michigan, and today was the perfect day to be off the lake. The food was wonderful! I had steak with hollandaise, a poached egg, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes. My only issue was the lack of hollandaise and the small egg. I also tried the Bistro omlette, and that was really good! Lastly, I enjoyed a side of yogurt with raisins, granola, and fruit! So, so good. The service was outstanding! I enjoyed getting my water cup filled frequently and getting the meal in a timely matter. The staff was great! The atmosphere was cozy and had a great vibe. The restaurant was beautiful. There were candles lit, and it was an inviting ambiance. I enjoyed breakfast today at Bistro On The Boulevard. Next time, I would like to try the dinner menu!

Lovely atmosphere. We ate inside although outside was beautiful and an option. Bread service was phenomenal. Definately try the tomato jam! We asked the server for just the brown sugar candied pork belly and we received this wonderful, sweet, savory, and delectable piece of pork belly. We sighed heavy sigh after the first bite. Fantastic food. Will definitely visit again!

Sat at bar for immediate seating. Bartenders were great. Personable and funny. The cocktails and beer were good. The bread appetizer was so good. Loved the tomato jam. Our burger and steak bites were some of the best we've ever had. Would definitely return if in the area to explore more of their menu. Beautiful view of the lake across the street. Easy parking.

We had a WONDERFUL meal and overall experience here on 6/18/2023. Our server Courtney was super attentive, knowledgeable and just took great care of us. The appetizers we ordered were extremely generous portions and really delicious. Truly there was no need for an entrée, but we split the elk chops which were cooked to perfection and possibly the best elk I've had in ages. Sadly no room for dessert, but I bet it's great here. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Every dish was unique and delicious in its own right. The flank steak was probably the best I've ever had and I'm a steak freak. Then the scallop and shrimp pasta was to die for. The noodles, the sauce, and the perfectly seared scallops that literally melted in your mouth was on point. The flavor profiles were top knotch. And don't even get me started on the strawberry creme brule..... I will be returning. If you want to have a high end dining taste and feel for middle of the road pricing I highly suggest the Bistro. Also, maybe you'll get lucky to have Robert as your server. Super cool, laid back and was very professional.

We had a reservation for 7, but got done early and they were able to accommodate us. The service was outstanding, very quick on water service and for the server to greet us. We had the Hot Honey Cauliflower, it was a little on the sweet side, but still very well prepared. The butter with the bread basket was outstanding! Husband has sea bass. It was a little rich, but good. The veggie bowl was fresh and the steak frites our daughter loved. Would come again definitely.
