Back to the Phoenix for another meet up with my brother. Service was pretty quick, and I have no complaints about the food whatsoever. I ordered the chicking sharer starter as a main meal, followed by the sticky toffee pudding. Both were very good. It is going to now be our regular meeting place for future events. Thanks to everyone for a lovely evening.

It’s such a beautiful venue, a place which holds fond memories for my aunt. Everyone enjoyed it so thank you for your hospitality.

We had a great time service was good the only bad thing was my steak was tough grissel . In my mixed grill , £100 for the meal for 4 of us . No starters main course and two deserts . Pint cola , half cola , strawberry spritzer , j2o . Deserts brownie and ice cream , nicker bocker glory . Cappuccino and a mocha to finish with .

Lovely place, excellent service even though 2 large party's were in at the same time, food was perfect, plenty of parking.

It was very busy when we arrived but we'd booked a table. We've not been for a long time so didn't realise that it's table service in the restaurant so that was a nice touch. We were served fairly quickly and the food was nice. They did get my sons burger wrong but it was sorted quickly and without any fuss. The staff were friendly and helpful so will definitely be back.

A large party of us came today for lunch. We preordered which was all so easy and well organised. Jamie looked after us and him and the rest of the staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and food was absolutely delicious. 5stars from us. Thank you xx

Rather nice pub with a varied menu and lots of tables. Food is good to great and tasty. Staff are amazing, honestly, you know your in the north as everyone here is brilliant.

My favourite place to eat in local area. I was soo surprised to get such a great menu and service from a green king. It is true restaurant quality food and service. Steaks are my usual choice but everything I have ever eaten here has been amazing.
