The Cheeky Turtle

Attended for breakfast twice and drinks 3 times due to it being outside the entrance of our apartment. Food was as expected, a cheap English fry up for cheap prices, hangover food. The beer in the evening was fantastic. I’ve cold beer in a chilled glass for €1.95. Great price and great beer. View of the mountain on a nice little sun terrace as well. Good spot for food or drinks.

We visited The Cheeky Turtle a few times during our 9 day stay in Tenerife and I can not rate this restaurant highly enough! The food was amazing (steak cooked to perfection) and the owners, Lisa & Franco, are the warmest of hosts. They are so friendly and obliging and go out of their way to make your dining experience one to remember. Beautiful surroundings, soft background music oh, and one of the best Piña Coladas I have ever tasted! If you get the chance, please visit this little gem of a restaurant as you will not be disappointed.

Really great experience. Kitchen was understaffed but they made that up with their brilliant service. Special thanks to the friend of the owner that helped with serving when they had too many sick leaves. You were awesome. Food was perfect, by far the best we had on the island. Would 100% return on our next trip here. Keep it up!

Had an amazing dinner here on our last night! The food was cooked to perfection and the prices are amazing! Our host Lisa was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough! Would 100% come back here when I revisit Tenerife. I had the burger and chips and my friends had the fillet steak was amazing 😍 10/10 recommend.

My friend and i came here based on the reviews and were not disappointed!! The hosts were lovely and the steak, prawns, etc were fantastic. Highly recommended the cocktails x2 for 9 euros and 1.95 for a pint! Exchanged my chips for mash which was lovely and they don't even include service so we left a generous tip. Stopped in for dinner tonight and couldn’t have been happier. Not only is service exceptional from the friendly greeting right through but the food is amazing! Beautifully cooked fresh food. Between us we had the paella, hake and chicken skewers and they were all delicious. Honestly can’t fault the food or service. Highly recommend you stop by for food and also try the barraquito for a very tasty post dinner coffee.

Came here tonight with my family there were 8 of us with children we ordered the fillet steak and the meat feast pizza and also the half chicken please please please anyone reading this give it a go you will not be disappointed everything spot on other than service slow but wernt a problem once we tasted the food worth the wait only been open since December the chef is fabulous and very very welcoming no issues

If you're looking for not just typical British meals then this is the place. The food is amazing all made from scratch and all fresh ingredients with unbeatable prices. Franco and Lisa the owners are lovely. Pint of Estrella for 1.95 which comes in a frozen glass, perfect on a hot day. We have eaten here nearly every day as it is that good. I would highly recommend.
