I have been dining here for over 20 years . The food always amazing and the owners are wonderful. It’s constantly a great meal. I’m finally reviewing although I would have said the same 20years ago . The best restaurant or the bestaurant if you will 🤭. Sorry if you can’t see all of my food, I ate it up and LEFT NO CRUMBS! I am a tourist and stayed at New York for 4 nights and ate here for dinner twice! I ate in the greenhouse outside both nights and it was so cozy and calm, and there was no one in the greenhouse but us both nights! Totally recommend, great food, great service, great restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️

We came to this restaurant at 8pm on a Friday night and it was at capacity. I’d recommend having a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights. We left around 10pm and at that point half of the tables were empty. I loved the vibe and decor of the restaurant. The food was also great and definitely not overpriced. We got the branzino and the portion was very big. We shared fish, linguine and roasted veggies between two of us and that was enough food. Highly recommend this spot if you live in Chelsea!

It was difficult to choose a place for dinner but we’re glad we chose this place! It was a nicely decorated restaurant with ambiance. The table received bread with our meals. We got 2 pastas(penne vodka) and a pizza which were all great. The pasta looked like a small portion but it winded up being enough at the end of our meal.

My family and I visited Pepe Giallo for the first time after seeing an opening at a nearby gallery. The restaurant was understandably busy on a Friday night (November 10th), but it was well worth he wait. We had fried calamari with zucchini, Margarita pizza, the steak, and chicken parm. Flourless chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. Every item, without exception, was delish and made from scratch! Our server Alvaro is a genuinely nice and cool guy. Despite being busy, he gave us some time for a small talk, making it an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Alvaro, and thank you to the wonderful staff of Pepe Giallo: cheers!!
