Goodness To Go

This wonderful place was recommended by a friend and everything I purchased for a bridesmaid party was outstanding. I am not usually a super fan of chicken salad, but theirs was wonderful and the fruit was fresh and perfect. We bought hummus for one vegan friend and she asked where we had gotten it because it was so good. Barbara

Very well made home style cooking. Casseroles, cakes, pies, cookies, lasagna, meatloaf, delicious pasta & chicken salads. There is nothing like this place. Some food is chilled and ready, some is prepared up to baking and some is hot and ready when ordered that way. They can deliver and catering is available. It’s really a nice place for convenient meals.

Reading all the positive comments, I was excited to visit Goodness To Go for the 1st time. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as positive. My friend & I walked in & instead of a greeting, I was asked to pull my mask up over my nose. (My mask had apparently slipped down slightly, even though I had put it on properly). Not a problem at all. I would never want someone to feel unsafe at their job because of me. However, from that point on, it was all downhill. Despite us walking around for several minutes, we were never once offered assistance. Instead, the girl at the register simply glared at us the entire time we walked around. My friend & I both noticed this & it made us both incredibly uncomfortable. We still made a purchase because I feel it’s especially important to support small business during this time, but we will not be returning.
