Had a lovely time here for a couple of drinks with a friend! It gets busy, so book a table if you want food!
Great selection of rum! But, I wouldn’t recommend the hot rum punch, that was the only disappointment.

I write maximum one review a year - thats how rarely I’m compelled to write one… but the rum shack is my favourite venue of all time. The staff are great, food is tasty and the best of all… the live music. What a special music scene is going on in Glasgow and Rum Shack is the best venue for it to shine. Ive been coming for open mics, a few gigs, Glitch 41 nights and it has been such a privilege to watch this outrageous, authentic, talented collective do its thing. Gutted to be leaving Glasgow to move down south again, in no small part due to the thought of losing Rum Shack from my regular life. One more gig on Tuesday night though 🙌🏾

Being from Barbados now living in Scotland we wanted to enjoy some Caribbean food...27th Oct was our 1st time visiting as my husband suggested based off a recommendation..Ideally located with it being merely 2 minutes walk from the train station
Staff gave us a hearty welcome and that set the tone for the night..hostess was very professional and made my Nojito specially to accommodate my Nut allergy 👏🏾
Food was HOT and FRESH...and though I wished to see at least 1 Bajan dish on the menu,we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will DEFINITELY be back

Such an adorable eatery! The Smash burger was absolutely delicious and juicy. There were a great assortment of drinks and were perfectly portioned. Zoe started our evening off right, thank you! Had the Blue Hawaii, Mermaid Lemonade, and Mai Tai. Can confirm it is a great spot!

The patties are incredible! If you like a bit of spice, rum cocktails, great service and some good music then you’ve got to visit here.

Whether you are a veggie or a meat eater, you will definitely love the cooking as long as you're ok with spices 😅 cocktails are great and the staff is easy going.

Good bar food followed by a banging night of live drumming and dj's playing Reggae and Soca. Dance heaven. Vibey little venue. Loved it.

Friendliest staff, generous portions and good vibes. The beer garden was lovely and the music wasn't too loud. Huge selection of rums, so if you're a fan definitely pay them a visit! We had the fish balls & patties for starters and jerk chicken for mains. Both were amazing and not too spicy or overpowering, just right!

Very flavorful food and delicious cocktails. We loved the goat curry, definitely get a side of the homemade hot sauce with it. Pictures is the chicken brown down, which was also good. Great rum selection and the Hotel Nacional was a fantastic drink. Our servers were awesome and super friendly.

Food and Rum selection outstanding. However as we visited on a Saturday night it was roughly the volume of a jumbo jet at take off. Maybe visit at less busy times if you want to hear anything from your dining partners
