Sake Fish

One of the best ducks I've ever had. We had the 4 person combo with noodle soup, veg and meat dumplings and another side of wontons. Also had the duck bone soup and crispy fried duck pieces. The duck itself was very tender, moist and flavorful. We're already planning our next visit! Price was reasonable. Service was amateurish but friendly. Atmosphere is very very casual.

We ordered the duck noodle soup tonight, and both the broth and the duck was quite tasty! The texture of the noodles was nice and soft as well. The noodles don't absorb the flavour of the broth well, but I'd imagine it would be perfect covered a sauce like their dandan noodles instead. We grew up in Chinese households, but still found the duck chunks were too big and heavy on the hand to eat with chopsticks. Though, I'll mention that they do slice it finely as you would expect when you order a half or whole Beijing duck. We also had some of their dumplings. They were very flavourful, but the meat inside was a little dry. Overall, the food tasted good, but a couple of adjustments could be made. :)

Hands down! This place has definitely earned a spot among my top 5 best places for Asian cuisine, one of the best places in town to get a taste of duck (the house specialty i believe). Service is magnificent, (kind & friendly). Would strongly recommend to anyone seeking to try duck or to anyone who loves Asian food!
