Smyth's Fish & Chips

We visited here yesterday and were greeted by a very friendly lady who kindly fit us in and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and matched all the other positive reviews. We also met the chef who was also another friendly character and mentioned the fish is cooked fresh everyday. Would certainly recommend this place

Lovely place run by friendly people serving lovely food. Cosy thatched roof terrace by the sidewalk. Curry sauce was fantastic. Very nice chips and scrumptious cod with crusty batter. Feels light, delicious and not greasy. Really eager to try the hammock next time around! Best Fish & Chips I have ever had in Spain alongside "Northern Sole" in Benidorm.

Smyth’s came highly recommended & honestly, we were not left disappointed 😋 Des & Sarah are so nice & friendly, it felt like we had being their customers for years. My wife is a celiac & Smyth’s have a fantastic Gluten Free menu & plenty of sauces to go along with her meal. You should make it your business to visit them, to enjoy their food & company 🥇

Are 1st visit to calpe. Walking round the shops .we came across...smyths. fish &chip shop. Received a really warm welcome from Mrs smyth .Sat out side under the beautiful shaded area. And when our fish &chips arrived. Hot crispy fish and hot taste chips . The fish batter was to die for .. Service excellent. If fact the whole establishment is spotless .. Still sat at the table, so content! Gluten free fish and chips, mushy peas and home made tartare sauce. along with a side of gf onion rings to share with Muggle husband. He says his normal fish and chips and the onion rings were fab. Mine was devine. The lady serving us was a breath of fresh air. Happy and helpful. Well worth the 30 minutes drive. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

Andrew I have to disagree with you in your review below, I found €16.50 great value for the food and service you are getting. I'm not a lover of peas and was given the option of a portion of curry sauce which was devine with the freshly cooked chips. Would highly recommend and will be back in September and will definitely be calling in again.
