I finally tried this place, because everything looked really good, and I love a good bowl of ramen or other Japanese comfort foods. I had the Katsudon set and my girlfriend had the tonkotsu ramen. Both were ok. The price was good for what you got. Unfortunately, it really doesn’t rise above what you would get as a meal on an airplane. The broth of the tonkotsu appeared rich and deep, but the flavor disappeared almost immediately upon hitting your palate. There was almost no aftertaste. The katsudon was too sweet and, again, the flavor was really lacking. It was just a so-so meal. There are tons of other options on the menu, and I wouldn’t write this place off without giving it another chance or two.
