Cafe Varmo

Nach der Besteigung des Eldfell habe ich mich hier gestärkt. Es gab Lammsuppe mit Brot und natürlich Kaffee und Wasser bis zum abwinken. Als ich das Café betrat, war ich fast der einzige Gast und so blieb es auch die ganze Zeit. Die Mitarbeiterin war eine ältere Frau, die mir sofort einen Krug Wasser an den Tisch brachte. Die Suppe war sehr lecker und preislich in Ordnung. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und entspannt.

(Þýtt af Google) Ef þú vilt fá smábæ sem líður kaffihúsi, þá er þetta staðurinn til að fara. Súpan er alltaf fersk, kaffið er alltaf heitt og kakan er alltaf ljúffeng. Þeir bera einnig fram bjór hér. (Upprunalegt) If you want a small town feeling café, this is the place to go. The soup is always fresh, the coffee is always hot, and the cake is always delicious. They also serve beer here.

(Þýtt af Google) Andlit eigandans er sá sem þú vilt sjá um morguninn! Gestrisni er svo heitt og góður. Hún er svo mjög sæt og gerir þér kleift að finna þig heima. Staðurinn er stór og borðum er hægt að mæta stórum hópum; það hefur úti sæti eins og heilbrigður. Lambasúpa var góð og fyllt. Komdu með ef þú heimsækir þessa eyju! (Upprunalegt) The owner’s face is the one you want to see in the morning! The hospitality is so warm and kind. She is so very sweet and makes you feel at home. The place is large and tables are able to accommodate large groups; it has outdoor seating as well. The lamb soup was hearty and filling. Do come by if you visit this island!

Starfsfólk var líka mjög notalegt og vingjarnlegt. Okkur leist mjög vel á þennan stað, svo næst þegar við verðum á Íslandi, verðum við að fara til Vestmannaeyja bara til að heimsækja þetta kaffihús aftur og smakka súpuna þeirra með sveppum enn einu sinni😉 (Upprunalegt) Cozy and pleasant place. They serve delicious food, especially soup! It’s perfect for Icelandic summer, because it will make you warm and full. Staff also were super pleasant and friendly. We liked this place very much, so next time we will be in Iceland, we’ll need to go to Vestmannaeyjar just to visit this cafe again and to taste their soup with mushrooms one more time😉
