Great place for a special occasion. We came here for a friends birthday and it was great service, what you expect for fine French dining. We tried a variety of the different dishes - favourite being beef tartare and the escargot in garlic sauce. I had the veal medallions and morel mushrooms. The sauce was spectacular. Of the desserts, I loved the lemon meringue. Perfectly sour. At the end was the signature crocodile.

First time dining here in over 10 years. So happy to find all the traditional French dishes I used to enjoy are on their menu. Service is impeccable.
We had duck confit, lamb, and duck breast for main course. Every dish was delicious and the serving portion big. I’d like the sauce texture a bit thicker as I found it a little watery.

Well-established French restaurant in Vancouver. It’s worth a try if you never been before. The place is pretty packed and tables are set up quite closely. This must be a very profitable joint as they turned the table several times at night. I still see people coming in even it was already 10 pm.

Fantastic, again. We always go here when visiting Vancouver. The food was exquisite, the wine list has a great range of wines including some brilliant wines from my favorite area, the Alsace region. Pierre was the consummate professional and made our visit enjoyable and amusing, great guy.

Le Crocodile has been around forever and has stood the test of time for a reason.
Have been here many times before and I like that the ambiance is nice and service is warm, friendly and efficient.
The duck confit and arctic char mains which we had this time were both cooked well and very delicious.

Beef Wellington, roasted duck, and veal were our main course. And we had spotted prawns for appetizer.
The food was fresh and tasty; it’s a bit on a heavier side; but great experience overall!

This was one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver, while they’ve reduced hours, the food was still pretty good. I was definitely excited to go again, but something just seems different than when I used to go.
The service level for a restaurant of this price point was not as good as it used to be. For example: I was disappointed that I asked to pack my fries with my steak frites, only to discover the fries weren’t packed.
