On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Ate around 5pm which allowed for quick seating and the restaurant wasn't very loud due to low crowds. However there was only one waitress working all the tables, so service was slower than usual. We got the chips and queso- I recommend the yellow queso unless you like jalapeños- go for the white queso in that case! We shared the fajitas and it was the perfect portion to share! Got to try all the different meats and the veggies were fresh/crispy!

This is what Chicken Tortilla soup should look like on your spoon ( good proportions of cheese, chicken, diced veggies, and tortilla). They did excellent to make their soup thickened with chicken and cheese! Servuce was excellent and patient. This location happens to be next to one of my favorite book retail chains, but I had never visited before. I'll definitely visit again!

It was too spicy for my individual taste, but I liked the restaurant. Not only do they have Vegan and Gluten Free options, but the waiter knew about them. As soon as I asked, he began to give me multiple options. My fellow Vegans will know that typically any time you ask a waiter/ waitress questions about Vegan options it take at least 5 minutes of them going back and forth to the kitchen to ask questions.. the bathroom was clean and had several stalls, a diaper changing station, they had outdoor seating, a fireplace, a bar area, and an enclosed room for large groups. Don't get me wrong, the food was good.. just a little spicy for this girl. :) It is a very convenient location close to the mall if you want to shop or catch a movie after. My Family Enjoyed their non vegan dishes and said the Queso was amazing!

I’ve been to this location dozens of times through the years. The food is consistently good, hot, and fresh. I particularly love their chicken fajitas, chimichanga, and I am a glutton for their yellow queso and amazing salsa. (Seriously, though, that salsa is incredible!) This most recent time, my mom and I shared some fajitas and had a margarita before shopping in the area. We were relaxing and took our time. The server was absolutely great; she knew exactly when we needed something, and when we were in deep conversation.
