We ate here on a last minute whim on a Saturday afternoon. Four of us. They advertise authentic Caribbean cuisine and they delivered! The first thing you notice as you walk in is the smell of Caribbean curry. We were seated immediately and our server was fantastic from beginning to end. The couple we were with split the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato chips and were impressed. My wife got the half Cuban and butternut squash soup. Also great! I think my sandwich was called the Caribbean Dip, it was shaved ribeye on a hoagie roll with curry flavored au ju. Again, great! For appetizer we got Jerk wings which were filled with flavor. For dessert I had a coconut rum creme brulee which was heavenly. We were only visitors on this trip but if I ever go thru Tulsa again I will definitely stop by.

Phenomenal! Everything was exceptional and there’s so much on the menu that I can’t wait to try. Wife and I finally went for a lunch date as several friends have told us how good it is and it did not disappoint. Ended up going back for lunch again the next day and are getting a sitter so we hit up dinner and the bar. If they have fresh shark in the Bake & Shark is outstanding, the Butternut Squash Soup is a must, hands down the best I’ve ever had. Outstanding service and a decent atmosphere too, new favorite downtown spot.

Wonderful place with excellent and friendly service and a nice, colorful ambiance. Highly recommended the CALLALOO soup and the PAMPLEMOUSSE cocktail. Fish tacos were a little dry, but it server Hailey got a side of the delicious apricot glaze for me and they were great.

First off, our server Josh was amazing! You really appreciate quality service and this is your guy. I’ll be hoping he’s sitting next time we’re in because that’s who we’re asking for. But the food and cocktails were also WOW! The blend that they pull together would be unheard of to me and it was executed flawlessly. And the Bees’s Knees Cocktail really is the BEE’S KNEES! Every aspect was stellar 💯 This is an absolute must stop and unique to anything we’ve had. Until next time!

We love everything about Susserou's! The kids meals are hearty and delicious; random, but, they have one of the best hot dogs ever 😀 The appetizers are small so keep that in mind. Entrees are large enough to share. Their coconut Crème brulee is my favorite thing!

Sara/h was my server. I came in on a Tuesday at 7pm. Great customer service and atmosphere. The pictures that aligned the walls are gorgeous. When they ask you do you want some fresh bread as you browse the menu, say ok and try it. It’s fresh in house hard dough bread, it’s not Jamaican style but it Dominica style. It’s super soft inside (a bit too doughy for my preference) but the perfect hardness on the outside. They make a salted butter that’s great along with the habanero sauce, that they also make, which tasted lovely with my crabback appetizer. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay (the only option by the glass by the way) and it was the Martin Ray brand, not bad but I won’t say it was the worst Chardonnay I’ve had. It paired well with my Crabback appetizer which was DELICIOUS with the celery and crab mix. I had no qualms with it. AT ALLLLLL. Now on to the entree, I ordered the pepper steak at first, but it was not medium as requested and it was bland, so I sent it back of course. The entree winner was the steak filet. The freaking yam/potato mash was THE BEST mashed potato I’ve ever had. That yam brings out a different flavor profile when cooked with the regular degular potato. I don’t eat mushrooms so I substituted the original side of veggies for the vegetable medley. The side of jerk shrimp was a great addition. I had this meal with the Martin Ray Cabernet which is actually better than the Martin Ray Chardonnay, both give me a FULL FEELING though. I didn’t have room for dessert but the Lava Cake called out to me! I enjoyed every bite and the ice cream was so delicious. I did try a cocktail just for you all and it was the restaurants take on a Moscow, which I absolutely loved! I also tried their house made rum punch, it was a sneaker lol it will sneak up on you but the flavors are blended so it doesn’t have a heavy rum taste. Overall the restaurant looks beautiful, the atmosphere is great, the customers seemed friendly, and the chef walked around and I was able to send my pepper steak back (it wasn’t my favorite, it was prepared medium well although I asked for medium and it lacked flavor in my opinion) in exchange for a filet MADE TO PERFECTION. That speaks to me, it’s important to me that my chef knows what his audience feels and thinks about his food. That alone makes me want to come back, plus that amazing appetizer! It’s a 3.5! The missing points are for food and location. Yes my meal was fixed but this is a review not a critique, I seek to understand and be apart of growth. So yeah, I’ll be back and I dropped some pictures below so you all can see why!

The beef patties with the slaw are amazing! I wish I could get that as a meal. I had the salmon rasta pasta. It was so delicious but I couldn't finish it....it is alot of food. My daughter had the jerk chicken....it was okay. The rice and beans were kid of dry. The bread pudding was delicious.

The service was awesome! And place was so clean. We started off with their specialty drink rum punch, so good! Caribbean jerk wings were juicy and so delicious! Sisserou’s burger was 7.5/10 (kinda dry for a medium doneness) and roti wrap had good flavor but wish it was spicy. Huuuge portion of roti wrap though, couldn’t finish it all. Side of fried plantains was kind of bland and not very caramelized.

My first time going and I'm ADDICTED!! The owner (I didn't get his name) was VERY PROFESSIONAL, KIND, ATTENTIVE & VERY HANDSOME!! Me & my guy friend just walked in without a reservation on a busy Saturday evening/night, and the owner was very polite and pleasant and assured us seating, and he DELIVERED very quickly on that promise. The ambience was very pleasant, warm & inviting. Can be romantic if you're on a date, but I was with a friend. Our waitress/server was THEE BEST she answered all of our questions, checked on us frequently, was very polite & jovial, made sure we had everything we needed and more!!! The FOOD... TOP NOTCH!!! Presentation, portions, flavors just danced in my mouth. The owner even stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with our meal and if we needed anything else. My friend said he'd been to Sisserou's several times before and that it's always a pleasant experience. He knows that I do reviews and wanted me to experience Sisserou's... I'll be going back often, probably alone, but I'm going nonetheless! 10/10 prices are very reasonable. I plan to try everything on the menu!!!

Modernly decorated Caribbean restaurant serving some deliciousness with a unique menu. For my appetizer I had the Beef Patties and they were deliciously impactful. For my entree I had their Oxtail Stew. I also tried their Fried Plantains and their Baked Macaroni & Cheese that were tasty and out of this world. Modern and comfortable decor. Amazing service. The entrance is located off the street. Nearby parking lot or spaces. Limited and timed street parking available. Decent prices.
