Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Food was really good.Had some pie afterwards and forgot to grab the my daughters didn't eat when it cane to there pie. My daughters remained me 1 block away went back to get them. They had thrown them out. The manager had given me fresh cut pies for them to enjoy after school tomorrow. Thank you for a great dinner and dessert. And good service

Last Friday my mom and I thought we'd go to Perkins for dinner since we were in the area. Well we were seated at a booth right next to the kitchen. First thing we heard was all the waitress swearing and arguing about who's turn it was when we were maybe the 4th table in the whole place. I've been a waitress before and who argues about making money? Lol. Just ridiculous and they were doing it everytime a table came in. It did start to pick up a little bit but not crazy busy. I swear you would've thought the place was packed the way they acted. My mom got the turkey dinner and came with 2 sides one of her sides was Mac and cheese. You'd think for a dinner the Mac and cheese would be good right? Nope. Just microwaved kraft or an off brand of kraft. Water downed taste. Not good. Also got fried pickles for an app and the batter was still wet and gooey when we got them. Not cooked all the way. I included a picture of the nasty Mac and cheese. I could see this as a kids meal option but not for a dinner side. I could've saved 30 bucks and cooked at home and would've been way better than this. Thanks to the manager that did take off the pickles off our bill. We were thankful for that at least .

I ordered a water but it tasted off. Not sure if it’s just the water in the area, dirty glass or how it’s filled. I would say it tasted like a cross between how a hotel hallway smells close to the pool, with a slight sweet hint and a word after taste. Food was decent and service was great. I would just recommend skipping the glass of water.

Five Stars is just not enough, it should be at least10!!! We enjoyed an amazing breakfast and purchased a wonderful French Silk Pie to take home with us, but when we left we forgot to pick up our cell phone on the table!! A gentleman named Don Bell secured it and kept it safely for us until we called searching for it much later that day. Since we had been returning from our Alabama vacation & still had to travel another 3 1/2 hours home, we could not just go back to retrieve it. Don graciously offered to mail it us & we got it in today's mail! That is the kind of customer service & assistance you seldom see anymore. Hopefully we can "pay it forward" to someone else some day. Thank you Don--we will definitely stop again when we are passing through Tomah, Wisconsin!

We got seated pretty fast waited 15 mins for waitress to take drinks and food order. Waited another 15 mins for our drinks. We got there about 5:30 didn't leave until 7:15. My husban's food looked like it sat under a heat lamp for 20 mins, his Mac and cheese looked like it sat in the fridge for days and reheated. my rice tasted like ramen noodles that sat for a hour and grilled fish was cold and mushy, my daughter's toast for her BLT was burnt and her bacon was cold. My Son's pancakes were hot but she forgot the fruit and cookie TWICE. Never asked us for refills while we waited. Usually we get a to go box but nope we just left it. Bill was over $50. We get up to pay and the guy asked how was everything husband hesitated and said "alright" I said "no it was not alright" and listed all the problems he was nice enough to give us 20% off and we still tipped the waitress. Will never eat there again!!!
