Checkers

So 5 stars you ask...for Checkers? Yes indeed! We went on Saturday afternoon. There speaker was not working so you had to go to the window to order. We ordered burgers, fries, monsterella sticks, etc. Believe it or not, the food came out in less than 4 minutes fresh, hot, and right! Now that is service! Such a great experience deserves praise!

Only one drive through part was open and we had to wait to finish order. Ordered 2 fish sandwiches and 2 French fries and 2 small drinks. No ketchup was given and didn't find out till I stopped to eat. There only seem to be 2 people working one cooking and one taking orders. Food was hot and good

It's been many years since I've had checkers. My daughter and I were on our way somewhere and we made the impulse decision to pick up some fries. We pulled into the drive thru and were greeted nicely, we ordered our fries and decided to do the 2 for $4 spice chicken sandwich. The service was very pleasant and fast. The fries were fresh, crispy and tasted exactly as I had remembered them as a kid! My daughter loved them. The spicy chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy but comparing it to other fast food places I would probably get a similar sandwich somewhere else. But between the friendly service and crispy fries, I'd come back to this location sooner than I had before...lol

On March 16th I placed an order online for pickup, since I was at St. Pete Hospital being induced and had a small window left to eat. My husband walked over to pickup the food and when he arrived "they were closed". The person refused to give him our food that we had ordered and paid for. Told him that they were closed. He then called the Checkers Helpline number and we were told we would be reimbursed for the order. It's June now and still haven't received a refund yet. Never place an order online for this Checkers unless you like not receiving your food or your money back!!

I've never been completely ignored in a drive-thru before. Waiting at the intercom for ten minutes an hour after the storw was well opened even made eye contact tact with staff member rolling bread inside. Still had to drive up to the window only to find nobody there at all. I've never seen been to a place that is run this way. Staffing issues are one thing but if you completely ignore customer who will pay then there is a problem.
