Fun Toast

Making orders before knowing if you have a seat is the stupidest policy. Granted it works for larger space and less crowded branch like Junction 10. But at Lot 1? It's dumb. The number queuing clearly outnumbered the number tables available. This is like asking you to put a deposit for food but not knowing if they can get a table for you. I suggest everyone to stay away.

Came here for a quick breakfast on 31/3, ordered set 3 which is kaya toasts, eggs and coffee. I got the coffee immediately and sat down. Then the kaya toast was served in 5 mins. However, they forgot my eggs and I was rushing for an appt so I didn’t bother asking either. I went around 1015am and there was no queue, only another old couple dining in. Service is really poor. I initially assumed that the lack of crowd would mean faster, efficient service, it was the opposite. The Ya Kun toast outlet on the same floor has better service. They manage to serve me fast despite having a queue. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience purchasing their vouchers. Went there at 830am to queue up and when it's my turn, I told them I want to purchase vouchers. They said that it's peak hour and they don't have time to prepare it. I would have to wait till 230pm to purchase. I queued up to wait for my turn and I should deserve time to be given to be for the purchase? Nevermind, I placed my contact number and said I will collect in the morning the next day. Next day, they told me because I did not place place my contact number and hence they dint prepare the vouchers and I have to wait till 230pm. I told them I did place my contact number and the uncle just changed his statement immediately and said I did not place deposit therefore they did not prepare. NEVER once did anyone asked me for deposit nor told me to place deposit when I was there yesterday. They merely asked me for contact number and kept that number. I am 100% sure they forgot about it as they could have prepared it at 230pm yesterday when they had time so that I can collect today. I am not sure why funtoast made it so difficult for these people to prepare vouchers. Isn't it just some slips of paper for them to chop the date? Is it because they have to key the serial number into the computer and these people don't have the skill set of typing on keyboards and thus take longer to key in? I wish the management could relook into this.

Service are good warm and friendly! But for currents measurement one of the local Chinese making kopi guy always MASK DOWN under the jaw and making the kopi especially during none ambassador on duties. I did told him off. But still the same. Very irresponsible. I work in service line with MASK on 100% too and serving many old folks...if anything happens to me you can imagine what's the outcome. That's why I only give 1 star. I don't go there anymore.
