Sundays are all about hitting up the West Seattle Farmers Market and grabbing a yummy donut at Dough Joy. I've been eyeballing Dumplings of Fury for ages during my market strolls, and the itch to try it finally got the better of me. So, let's dive into the scoop on my recent visit: 🥟 Garlic and Mushroom Dumplings (4/5): These little flavor bombs combine mushrooms and tofu, creating a satisfying bite. However, they do pack a bit more oil than I'd prefer, but still, it's a good 4.5 out of 5. 🥔 Potato Hum Bao (3/5): On this occasion, I ventured into the special menu and tried the potato humbao. It's not bad, but honestly, it didn't knock my socks off. The bun was a bit different from what I'm used to, which might be a signature touch, but it wasn't my jam. I'd give it a 3 out of 5. 🔥 Tofu Bao (5/5): Now, this is where things get spicy! The tofu bao stole the show. The tofu was fried to perfection, the bun was just right -soft and fluffy-, and the crispy onions, along with the flavorful Szechuan sauce, created a party in my mouth. A solid 5 out of 5 for sure. 🍚 Tofu Fried Rice (4/5): The tofu fried rice was pretty good, but some might find it a tad mild. A little splash of soy sauce made it all good. It did carry a bit of extra oil, so it's a 4 out of 5. 🥗 Tofu Rice Bowl (5/5): For those looking for a lighter option, the tofu rice bowl is a winner. It's loaded with veggies, and the fried tofu isn't drowning in oil. A perfect 5 out of 5. About the service... Unfortunately, they didn't exactly roll out the red carpet and not necessarily expected but we didn't feel particularly welcome, like we were a burden (I sensed everyone in the dining room felt similarly). Ordering takeout might be the way to go in the future. But to their credit, the service was fast, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable for what you get. In a nutshell, I'm a fan of Dumplings of Fury's vegan goodies, but the dining experience didn't hit the mark due to the service. I'd recommend the food, but think twice about dining in – takeout's the way to go! 😋🍽️

Great food! We had heard a general lack of enthusiasm around this place and after eating their I can’t understand it. The chicken fried rice was so surprisingly good, one of the of the best bao’s i’ve had, cucumber salad was exceptional, and the potstickers were well above what you generally expect from them. Staff was solid as well, definitely recommend!

Very delicious and flavorful food. We enjoyed the shrimp dumplings and the Korean pancakes the best. The fried chicken was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Had a good time eating here for lunch! Food was good. There were a bit of hits and misses - but overall good enough for just a quick bite or a lunch date.

I had put off going here due to the prices, but I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. I still think the prices are too high for the portion sizes ($3+ per dumpling???) but they were undoubtedly delicious and a tad more special than a typical dim sum offering. The large jar of chili oil at every table earned bonus points, it’s great on everything. Not a ton of space inside but orders came out quickly and tables opened up at a good pace.

Exceeded expectations. I had the tofu bao and mushroom dumplings. Great vegan Asian cuisine. Delicious before the sauce and even better with the sauce on top! Green beans were yummy too.
