Decent place for Indian food in the city of Seattle if you don’t want to drive to the Eastside. Tried their lunch boxes, chai and pakodas. Saw plenty of pickups while we were dining. They also have lunch buffet. Food - 4/5 average taste, decent proportion Price - 4/5 reasonable Service - 5/5 fast and friendly Ambience - 3.5/5 Located conveniently in the busy ballard neighborhood with somewhat easy parking options.

When we went, it was navratri time so they were playing a beautiful Aarti which made out day even better. The food was amazing and they had a great server to help us with our choice of food. Naan was tasty and paneer was yummy too. I also got extra green chilies on special request and they only charged us for 1 tea instead of 2.

Just came back from the most lovely meal! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was all amazing. We loved the buttery nan and fluffy pilaf rice. I ordered the paneer tika tandoor - and it came out sizzling! The experience reminded me of our local Indian at home in London, and we mean that as such a compliment. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

We hired India Bistro for their catering services for our wedding reception, and we really enjoyed working with their team. When we knew we were getting married, it was obvious right away that we wanted to have Indian food served. It’s our favorite cuisine! India Bistro is really close to the Golden Gardens Bathhouse, where we did our wedding reception, and is easily accessible to most of the greater Seattle area. Mukesh was responsive the day of our reception, and helped us to set up the best menu for our guests well in advance. Their team does great work, you can see the effort they put into their catering services, and the food was excellent! Every single dish was top-notch. If you need your next event catered, we would recommend India Bistro.
