Phoenix Chinese Cafe

I had Thanksgiving dinner here with my family recently, and everything was perfect. The restaurant is under new management, and it shows. The place is very clean, well-lit and pleasant. The new owners are very nice people and provide excellent service. On top of that, the food is great, nice portions and variety. I would highly recommend Phoenix Cafe to anyone seeking Chinese food for take out or dine-in.

The atmosphere and customer service was really nice. The food was amazing and the food came out so fast. Mrs. Mary is a wonderful person and was very kind throughout my entire stay. I would love to eat here again. I am a college student and it sometimes is not that good with money, but this place was great if you want somewhere to eat great Chinese authentic food and for a low price and a bunch of great delicious food then this is the best place you can ever come to.

My wife and I went to this restaurant to have a dinner tonight. It was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a very friendly atmosphere. The owner and his wife welcomed us with a warm smile and showed us our table. We ordered three items; Congee with Beef, Beef Fried Rice and today’s special, Walnut Shrimp. All three items were very delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I was full but I kept on eating; couldn’t stop myself. Now I know why San Antonio Express News said that it was an excellent restaurant. If you like to have an excellent lunch or dinner and don’t want to sell your kidney for it then I suggest that you try this restaurant.

love the vibe and the service. I came because of the claim of being "most authentic".. im from Philly, so I'm picky about my Chinese-American food.. they weren't lying! Since I've moved here, only one other restaurant had better Egg Foo Yung and it was technically in Converse, so THIS IS THE BEST IN SA.
