Let me just add to the chorus of reviews saying this place is perfect. Everything you want a local coffee shop to be. Great coffee with an obvious focus on quality. Friendly and good-humored staff that remembers regulars and their orders. Clean and cozy storefront that showcases local art. We just stopped in for 5 minutes as we passed through town, but this St Albans hospitality made me eager to return and spend some time in the city!

I hope we all have a special place in our town that makes us feel cozy and provides delicious caffeinated beverages! For myself, that is the Catalyst coffeebar! You often find the owner herself behind the bar, she is an inviting and charming individual who makes the experience all the more welcoming. In the summer You can’t beat an iced maples latte by the sunny window or in the winter, a pot of tea with a good book at a table in the back! See you there!

Absolutely beautiful! I was in town for business and unexpectedly needed to stay in town for an additional couple of hours. To pass the time, as always, I look for local coffee shops to support smaller businesses. This was a gem to find. The esthetic, top notch, and the two ladies behind the bar, lovely. I can say that if ever I’m back in the area, this will be a site stop along the way!
