Nice little restaurant with a beautiful view. The food is good but a bit on the pricey side. The staff are friendly.

Lunch at Salty’s was absolutely beautiful! Between us we had duck, fish and Lamb and every dish was beautiful. The staff were great, happy, friendly and attentive and what a great ambiance looking over the Hastings river. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and look forward to our next visit. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

The food was absolutely delicious - I ordered the fish which is a reoccurring dish on their weekly changing menu. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were large and made with finesse. The place itself is a little hard to find, but the venue is very nice - ocean views, a comfortable atmosphere and a nice, seaside decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey - $40+ for a steak dish - but it's worth it

This place has gone through a number of changes for the better. We found the food to be very good, with generous portions and reasonably priced. Worth making a reservation for the outside area and the evening view of the river is sensational.

Restaurant is situated right on the Hastings River. Good views. Easy access.
Varied menue, steak, chicken and seafood. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is prompt and very friendly. Our first visit since new ownership and we will certaimly return.

Fine food, beautifully presented along with exceptionally good service, that is attentive to your needs; and with a ready smile. This restaurant has been under new management since November 2nd. If this standard is kept it won't be too long before you will need to book well in advance.
