Lovely little cafe for the local community, friendly and happy staff. Breakfast was hok but there was no extra options. It missed mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding etc... If you are offering a cooked brekkie make it a brekkie you want to come back for more. Loved the homemade milk shake.. It was D lush!! ❤️

A bit of context before the rest of my review. When I was still in secondary school me and my boyfriend used to come down everyday after school on Thursday and have a chocolate milkshake and a tiffin. We loved it here but since we’ve moved on with out education we don’t have much time anymore. Today we came back since the rebrand and it’s still just as lovely however a few small things have changed which I don’t like, but I understand that the change may not have been optional. For example, they have changed the recipes of the milkshakes and have made them significantly smaller for the same price. The place also seems a lot more commercialised rather than family oriented and personal. The food is still just as yummy though; it’s just sad to see the place I came to know and love change in such way. The wait was also 40 minutes for two panini’s. They apologised but that’s quite a while for two small panini’s. If you’re looking for a still quite comfortable little cafe I would still recommend this to you as the quality it still amazing!

Had a latte and a cheese and bacon panini. Coffee tasted great and came nice and hot. Not lukewarm like in some coffee shops. The panini was delicious. Freshly made and packed full of fillings. Already planning to give the sausage one a try on my next visit. 😂

Found this place through google maps and the reviews convinced me. The selection of food and drinks is great. I opted for a coffee & a TBL sandwich and seriously, bloody tasty coffee and the sandwich was just amazing (generous size and filling) - all in all delightful! Really saved our day as we’ve been travelling on the road for hours and reached the ‘hangry’ stage.. The staff was very nice and it was a great little place with great atmosphere to enjoy our deinks and food in. Unfortunately we’re not locals, but we are definitely coming back when we’re in the area 👍🏻.

Went there after seeing an online review - it was close to our friends house, and looked good. Allan had some coffee and cake, but Chris and I opted for a full breakfast, and coffee. The drinks arrived and the coffee was good enough not to have milk or sugar! The Coffee cake arrived for Allan, and he said that it was really good, and wasn't a small sliver either!. The breakfasts arrived, fried egg, bacon, sausage, beans and toast. Hot and cooked well. Staff were really friendly, and the service was good. All in all, a nice little place to have a snack and a drink.

Absolutely brilliant place to go for everyone of all ages, families and disabled are also very welcomed. Prices are good and atmosphere is amazing. Shame to hear the current management are passing the baton to someone else. But wish them all the best and hope the new people are able to keep up the great trend here! Highest of recommendations!!! You are always guaranteed to feel welcome at the Coffee House. Me and my son have been going for a couple of years now and each time we have fantastic, friendly service and the milkshakes are amazing! We're going here for breakfast this morning and I can't wait!

I love visiting the coffee house. It's a regular haunt of mine and my wife. They always make us feel welcome and are child friendly also, my son is well catered for. The choices of teas and coffees are varied and tasty and the food is always top notch prepared in the open kitchen area which is spotless. The atmosphere is always friendly and warm and we've had many chats with others in our community we wouldn't otherwise have necessarily come into contact with so it lives up to its name!
