Beggar's Pizza

It was… just okay. Having been highly recommended and requested by a local with whom we were going to eat, we swung by and picked up a large sausage thin crust. It was nothing to write home about, and it certainly was not what a beggar would be able to comfortably afford. That being said, it was fine pizza. Nothing wrong with it. Just average and unassuming to what I can only assume is an untrained palette more interested in Papa John’s and Deep Dish than in this selection.

Love this place! The pizza is always the best quality you would expect from Beggar's and the new management team from the past few years is great. I have friends who are gluten free and have said this is the best gluten free crust they have ever had. In addition to great pizza, they also have some of the best wraps I have ever had. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu!

This Beggars has really turned it around. When we first moved out this way from the south side, I compared everything to the Merionette, Oak Forest and BI locations and it just wasn’t the same, but wow has that changed. The last couple of times we’ve brought the family in for a pie, we’ve had awesome service with an awesome pizza!

Smh! I am highly disappointed with the pizza I received tonight. For starters, my family and myself love Beggars pizza, normally we go to the New Lenox location. We were pressed for time and decided to patronize our local Beggars pizza. I'll start with customer service; the lady cashier was very unpleasant and seemed as if she was bothered by doing her job, at that point I should have just walked away before paying. Giving the benefit I paid for our order and was excited all the way until I was home and opened a pizza box that had a pizza overcooked/burned due to the nature of the burnt pizza the sauce was dried up and the ingredients were so bland we forced ourselves to eat 2 slices. So much for dinner! If this location wants to Survive, you have to make vast improvements.
