This place has the most robust full flavored chicken pho dish I've tasted this far. I didn't realize that it's basically all they do, which makes sense that they've perfected it. They are on my list when I want this fish.

Here's the drill: you go in, got a table, order pho + half a chicken, you'll get ice tea with your meal, the pho will come out with the fresh greens side dish and the chicken will also come out with a salt and chili pepper dip. The meat is great: tight. The liver and blood pudding are fresh and flavorful. The broth is has a deeper cinnamon and star anise flavor. The only down side is the place is not the cleanest and the staff are loud (albeit very polite and helpful). Thit gà săn chăc. Nuoc pho hoi nhieu mùi hoa hôi`.

Recommend: chicken pho There is no visible listing anywhere so be prepared when you enter You can ask for varying sizes of noodles, chicken, chicken organs and there are also other items but everyone seems to order the chicken pho. The portion sizes are somewhat smaller than most pho places. Chicken is tender but not very flavorful. The dipping sauce is very salty and vinegar based so use sparingly. The tea is ok. Probably would not pick it over beef pho personally but it's pretty decent.

Nice, clean, and good pho place. Friend brought me here to try the chicken pho and it did not disappoint! Prices are reasonable. Makes me wish my area had a good place with chicken broth

This is hands down the best chicken pho spot. I used to eat there when it was in Kensington. New spot is clean and brightly lit. Service is fast and friendly. Only 2 things on the menu: chicken pho and beef pho. They have Vietnamese coffee (which I suspect is made of rocket fuel, if you're into that sorta thing) and what I believe is sugarcane juice. Parking is kinda brutal but that's just the area. Would recommend finding angled parking off to the side or even on Washington Ave. The parking lot is a mad house. Owner is a great guy too.

The food here is delicious. Very famous amongst the community. Was once located in Kensington and now in S. Philly. The best chicken pho on the East Coast and that's not lying. The habenero sauce with the fresh free-range chicken, either ordered half or whole. Now to the broth. Order a Plain bowl of pho (small or large) with your choice of half or whole chicken. Leave it as is! Savor the warm aromatic booth alone. There's no need to add hoison or Sriracha, you'll ruin the flavor otherwise. And the herbs are up to your preference, but I think it detracts from the art, a little goes a long way. Delicious and filling. My go-to when I'm not feeling well or just hungover lol.

Food comes out piping hot almost boiling and is delicious + price is pretty good! Very busy 24/7 but you will not find better Chicken Pho anywhere else! (unless you have a Vietnamese mom 😉) Be ready for the non-existent service and hot steamy environment sometimes. This is a no thrills place you go to for amazing food. It’s run almost like a Vietnamese street food place (which isn’t bad). Your order will be taken 30 secs after being seated because they have 1 item, chicken pho. Either big Or Small or a large/small with 1/2 or whole chicken separately. I’d personally get a bowl of plain noodles and broth then get a whole chicken on the side to share, It is to die for!

Got here when opening and got seated right away. The place looks to seat about 40. It was busy with patron even ordering extras for take out. We ordered 1/2 chicken, 2 large plain pho and ice coffee. The chicken was nice and moist. The broth was clean and delicious. The side dipping sauce was a tad salty tho. It did have a nice kick. We shared this with our two kids (6/8) and it was sufficient. The bill was $35+ tips, not a horrible price for a great breakfast. This is one of the better meals for our trip to Philly. We will be back again! Until next time..
