Maza Taza

Everything is delicious, except the rice. Really would rate 4.5 stars, but not an option. If the rice had more flavor it would be a solid 5. The beef kabob and falafel were amazing. Hummus was good. Beef was very very tender and flavorful. Definitely would come back the next time I'm in Philly. Friendly service.

Entrees:: The chicken shawarma is my go to, but the chicken kabobs are marinated and grilled deliciousness. The steak shawarma is a good change up from time to time. Toppings:: Toppings are all fresh and excellent. If you peek down stairs you can usually see the prep station hard at work. Sides:: The falafel, get some! Hummus is really good. Pizza:: Yes, Pizza! Surprisingly good. The sauce is sweet and they will customize it with the available toppings. The pizza by itself would get a solid 8/10. With the available toppings and the ‘unique appeal’ that they add I can give it a 9-10. This is not on the menu, but ask about it. I love this place. I will expand on this at a later time.

One of the cool places you can visit in Philly to try Mediterranean food and have a fun time, love how the wall designs that represent the 3 big teams in the city, the eagles 🦅, Phillies and 76'ers, also a beautiful Rocky 🥊 drawing, and the people who with there are so nice and amazing and the smile never leave their face, the food can be better though i only tried one item so i can't decide yet, although I'll definitely comeback to get something else.

Great food at a good price. The lady preparing the food was extremely attractive and very friendly. I decided to give this place a try but my intention was to get a cheesesteak next door. I'm glad I gave Maza Taza a try. It's fresh food and a lot healthier than getting a slice of pizza or a sub next door
