Came here for a work Christmas party. The restaurant it very quaint and cozy, and all of the food they served was absolutely delicious. I was especially a fan of the gnocchi which is not a typical order for me. Planning another visit asap!

Tiramisu and gnocchi were both amazing! I also enjoyed the Caesar salad. It’s super fun to be able to BYOB in Philadelphia, we picked a special founding fathers themed wine to bring, it was a nice time.

It's places like La Nonna that make me feel like I'm living in a dream and make me fall in love with Philly all over again. I can't believe we live within walking distance. We had almost a private seating tonight. The homemade antipasti - bread and pickled veggie starter, homemade pasta, and dessert were on par with Vetri. I actually prefer La Nonna because it was charming and BYO. A hidden gem. I feel so lucky to have had this experience.

Very nice Italian style restaurant in Philadelphia. I realized a little too late that like more restaurants in Philadelphia it's a BYOB restaurant so we quickly went to a store close by to buy some white and red wine. Also, pay in cash or with Venmo only, no cards. We ate here with a group of 9 people, with reservation (do this, it gets very busy). We shared some starters of artichoke, burrata, fried squid. Next I had the cacio and pepe spaghetti which tasted very good. All other pastas and tuna dishes were excellent. The only thing this restaurant could improve is using much less salt in their food. Would come back.

Really enjoyed my dinner here! Thought the restaurant week options were excellent. Loved the burrata and mussels! The gnocchi with blush sauce was a nice portion and very fresh. The tiramisu dessert was delicious. Great food, great prices in a lovely atmosphere & BYOB

I think everything was great in my own experience. The pasta and food came out fairly quick. The pasta was cooked to perfection, not too chewy or soft. The bills for 5 people was around 160 including tips which is not bad at all. We got the mussels appetizer, it has a clean taste, pretty light appetizer to get started with. I also got the special gnocchi of the restaurant, and all of my other friends got the carbonara and spaghetti meatballs, eggolant parm. They said it was good, I think my gnocchi and carbornara was the best one out of all the dish. The atmosphere and the decorations in here is very chill and cozy. Would be a cute date for the couples.

Certainly a hidden gem. Food was delicious. My fiancé had the chicken parm which was great and I had the fettucine bolognese, so far the best I’ve had. The service is incredible, very informative of their ingredients and they make sure to take care of all your needs. Overall, I recommend the restaurant and hope to be able to visit again.

AMAZING service, honestly some of the best service iv probably ever gotten. we came much later than our reservation near closing, but they still let us dine in which was🫶. the waiter was dxtremely kind and polite, and they really made the experience v nice. we went for valentines and the ambience was definitely set for it. a gorgeous restaurant with beautiful decor, we loved the vibe. we ordered the mushroom ravioli and tiramisu, we both wished the portions were bigger esp for the price, but the flavor was amazing in both. v good restaurant to enjoy every once in a while :)

Took a walk on a nice Sunday evening looking for a place to stop and eat with no particular destination in mind. Wound up on South Street, and found "La Nonna's" (214 South), and decided to give it a shot. Had never been. My girlfriend and I started with the fried calamari, which was done correctly. Cooked to perfection, perfect texture, no rubberiness. My girlfriend had the Enochi from the menu in blush sauce. She said it was the best blush sauce she ever had. Enochi's were large, fluffy and perfect. I had the chicken parmesan, was also phenomenal. It was exactly what that dish should be. I assume it's consistent, and probably served that way 10 out of 10 orders. All in all, we had a great time. The hostess and our server were very attentive and extremely cheery, but not at all overly bothersome at the table. After all was said and done I could not believe the entire check was just over $60, and with $75 total spent after tip we went on our merry way. We will definitely be back and I advise you to give it a shot. Can't miss!!! Well done!!
