Green Eggs Cafe

We were meeting friends as they drove past Philly on their way home to DC. So happy we chose Green Eggs- the menu was excellent, had something for everyone (vegan, vegetarian, carnivore). It wasn't loud (great acoustics) so you can actually chat with the people at your table. People of all ages, families, friends... Great coffee and mimosa selection. And the food was just excellent. On street parking is 2 hrs. But we found it right on the block. Highly recommended. Oh, and it's cash only. But they have an ATM. And a super shout out to the wait staff. Excellent service - not to hovering, but always there to refill or answer a question.

This is their OG location in my I also add that they have a bar as well. There you can find all different kinds of mimosas my favorite is the apple cider mimosa. They have so many different options to choose from my favorite is the kitchen sink. During this visit I ordered their Skillet called The cure.I love all of their French toast options as well as their burgers. Everything that I ordered is usually very fulfilling and I cannot finish it. Most of the time I take my food home. The service there is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is chill and laid back and they have a very clean bathroom.

CASH ONLY. Hearty portions of unique dishes. We got the chicken and waffles egg Benedict and the guacamole and peppers egg Benedict. The chicken and waffles came out piping hot and the Tabasco, syrup hollandaise was Delicious. The guac and pepper was too heavy of the guac and left the dish soggy. It also was luke warm so it likely sat while the other dish was finishing. The potatoes with onions and peppers were fantastic didn't even need ketchup.

The place was good. The hostess was on a personal call though when i arrived. She was friendly! I ordered the veggie burger with some very refreshing champagne. The food portion was great. I loved the fries! I would recommend it. Also, they don't accept cards...which i forgot and the manager was nice enough to let me do a PayPal transfer! Looking forward to introducing this place to someone else!

The food was excellent. The shrimp and grits were great, although I could've had some more shrimp. The grits were get flavorful. I also had a cappuccino martini. It was yummy. Be advised that this is a CASH ONLY establishment. And anything over $50 will have 18% gratuity added. There is an atm machine at the front.
