Toledo Restaurant

Went here for a Christmas party, and at the beginning, I was excited. The appetizers they presented were delicious. But they had them in a buffet style, with one server spooning out to our company, which was slow. A line formed and people were a bit peeved about the line. Same was true at the bar. One bartender was slow and a line formed and people were peeved they had to wait so long for a drink. The atmosphere at the tables was lively and generally people had a good time. The wait staff were friendly and seemed eager to help us all enjoy the evening. We had many options for food and I chose the Paella. Sadly, when that arrived, it was average at best. I have had other friends visit this place and they raved about it. But this night, I found it to be a little sub par for what a company wants in a Christmas party.

The food is good, I would absolutely recommend. But the service was disappointing. My husband and I were discussing whether we wanted raspberry dessert, and the waiter was very impatient and said “so raspberry yes or no?”. And when he was serving the raspberry dessert, he just put the plate on the corner of the table and left. That was definitely not the type of services you would expect from a restaurant like this. A waiter with dark hair and glasses was very nice though. He was not serving our table, but he offered to take photo for my husband and me.
