This place rocks! We had gotten off the NYC water ferry and needed some food stat. We walked a few blocks and this was the first spot we found. Never heard of this bar, it has Cheers!, vibes and classic timey music. We ordered 12 mini sliders with cheese and oh-mah-gawd, so delightful. I would travel to get this food and ambiance again. Bathrooms are upstairs and clean. Good for groups, Not crowded and not too loud. Great for a date too, might be hard to bring kids though, most of the seating is high stools. Would come here for burgers and beer!!! Cheerss

The pearl on Pearl Street! You open a lot of oysters and occasionally you find a pearl. We walked in the door at 5.15pm on a quiet Monday night. From Saybrook Ohio to Dunedin New Zealand; it immediately felt like home. I had a cup of tea, my husband had a couple of beers and both of us enjoyed the chance to relax after sightseeing in the financial district. The welcome and subsequent service from Anthony made us feel as though we were among friends.

Let's start with what you want from a neighbourhood bar. Friendly staff, good food, great drinks, atmosphere and ambience. The Killarney rose has all these in abundance. Learned a few new drinks when I was there, was treated like a local and met some great people. And the food was exactly what you expect from a pub, solid menu and everything was great! And let's not forget all the sport you want on the many screens! Make sure to tell them Olga sent you! 😉

Awful food, drinks and service. I ordered an appetizer of chicken fingers, an entree of an avocado grilled cheese, and two drinks. The chicken is shown on the menu as coming with fries. It didn't. It was also overcooked to the point I was finding many rubbery inedible bits. The Guinness I had was small and bitter. Then the sandwich came. It was hot, damp bread with wet cheese and gross guacamole, nothing toasty or grilled about it. This did come with french fries which were actually very delicious. When I told the server that I didn't enjoy the food, she just shrugged. I left the whole sandwich (less 2-3 bites) and the majority of chicken fingers. I ordered a Jameson and Ginger to wash the taste from my mouth and this drink was TINY. It cost almost $50 for garbage. Do not recommend.

The Guinness was grand but the food was nothing to write home about. The pickle chips were overdone and they appeared to be bought in prepared and just deep fried. Pickle chips should have a tempura style, not a chicken nugget bread style, batter. My friend's pastrami was tough and fatty and my burger was ok...it was cooked but the chips were a bit greasy. Would not return.

Came across the Killarney Rose after taking a journey on the Staten Island Ferry. It was cold, rainy and windy so the warm welcome we recieved was spot on. Drinks were good, the owner (didnt get her name) was really friendly chatting to us and went out of her way for us to catch the grand national on tv. We ordered food which came quick and hot and we were also treated to some free fish tacos which were delish ! Def worth ordering! Made our NYC experience even better. Thank you and we hope you enjoyed A-Ha :)

Very nice pub with a tasty shepherd's pie. Tracy the bartender was very attentive and nice. Pay her a visit. Oh and they have a killer old vintage sign!

Good little spot with some nice daily deals. We got $5 pints of a Pilsner on a Thursday. Just a very average Irish pub, of which there are thousands in America.
