La Colombe Torrefaction

Terrible. I visited this place 2 days ago around 1pm, a cashier who got my order didn't seem to know much about coffee and I had to repeat what I ordered to the other casher to make a payment because first one just left me as soon as he got my order and the other cashier was unfriendly, not a good manner while he proceeded my payment. I ordered a cortado and it should contains little or no foam but batista made a cappuccino and temperature of the milk was bad it was like lukewarm. I couldn't feel any aroma, body and flavour from espresso shots, it just tasted burnt that's it. I took a sip of it and threw it away. Such a waste of money and time, horrible experience over all.

Some of the best coffee/lattes in NYC. Went here often when I had classes, and I only had one experience when the coffee was below my expectation, which compared to Starbucks or most other cafes/coffee places is definitely good. I'd rank it about the same as blue bottle coffee, but has more seating area which is a plus. They had a good Chai oat milk drink on tap too.

This place has a really good selection of coffees, brews, and other food items. Coffee is at the heart of what they do and the baristas are generally friendly. Prices are normal, nothing low or high, and options are a plenty. Iced latte here is incredible! Good enough space to get some work done with outlets but no wifi unfortunately. During the weekend it can get a bit loud and some days it feels like they close before 6 PM so beware of that.
