The overall ambience was very nice. The server was quick and attentive. The crab curry was a bit on the spicy side but very delicious. The fish was fresh and came in its little fish-shaped plate and a little heater. They got lunch time happy hour and both our drinks were good. The crab fried rice really stood out—each grain is individually separated and not gooped up together. Well done !

Terrific Thai restaurant with a focus on high quality seafood — I came here late on a Thursday night, and was surprised at how busy the place was.
Once we got seated, we ordered a few cocktails and some plates to share. The cocktails were delightfully creative, and had unique Thai inspirations. The curry was certainly on the spicy side, but I absolutely loved the crab.
Although the dishes were certainly on the pricey side, I certainly had a great experience and would love to visit again on special occasions.

Didn’t intend to order more than two dishes as it was supposed to be a quick and light lunch but the taste was so good we couldn’t resist trying more. Outstanding quality Thai food in a charming space. High recommended!

Really wanted to love it but put oysters were a but suspect and my pork dish came out a bit coldish. Staff was super amazing and we DID love the cocktails. They were delicious. Overall, we want to give a 2nd shot and try different options for food as we were not happy w most of our choices! To be continued...

Fish Cheeks is a great Thai restaurant that specializes in Thai Seafood cuisine. Their food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Their presentation was on point! I love their Short ribs Kua Gling and steamed fish. Their wings is to die for as well. It was so crispy with just the right amount of spice. The drinks were great! Service was very friendly. They’re always busy so make sure you make a reservation before you go. Highly recommend!

From the very first sip of the Thank You Kha cocktail, I knew that I would soon be party to a layered culinary experience. The astonishing thing about eating at Fish Cheeks is that every dish is rendered irresistible by an incredibly subtle arrangement of flavors and aromas. Nothing is overpowering, yet each bit is bright and deeply flavourful. Describing the food as "good" doesn't do justice to the thoughtfulness and precision that went in to the creation of each dish. Dining at Fish Cheeks is a journey through the genius of they who bestowed their recipes upon the restaurant. Come with a notebook as you'll surely learn a great deal about what happens when certain ingredients interact with one another.

Snag a res here about a week or two in advance! amazing service, delicious and unique thai food, and really great ambience. would recommend for a date night or small group setting. we got the corn salad (so fresh and delicious), oysters (the toppings were so yum!!), and the steamed fish in broth (must order— the flavors are herb-forward and reminds me of home. it fed 2 of us comfortably, but i almost wanted one to myself. eating the fish and broth over rice is the way to go—get a bowl for each person!). loved the complimentary shrimp chips to start too!

Came with a group of 8 on a Friday night. It was packed inside so we sat outside (which usually would have been fine but there was barely any heat in their outside area so we were all freezing).
The servers were really great. Portions are reasonable but some dishes leaned slightly on the smaller side.
Overall, I would definitely come back to try their other items, but also order the crab fried rice again!!
We ordered:
-pork cheeks: one of the best things we had that night. The meat was succulent and tender, and the sauce brought it to another level.
-fried chicken wings: fried well and has a nice kick to it.
-oysters: fresh and even better with the sauce.
-steamed whole fish: incredibly tender and fragrant, and I believe almost boneless?
-crab fried rice: smaller in portion but the rice was fried very well (not too oily) and the crab shined through.
-crab curry: spicyyyy but good flavor. Wish it was bigger in portion. Comes with a bowl of rice.
-tom yum soup: packed with seafood and has the appropriate amount of sour tang.
-roast chicken: tender but wasn't the star of the show.
-coconut ice cream: I like the creaminess of it and also I think the top is egg yolk that has been frozen from the cold of the ice cream. Really good.
-banana sticky rice: incredibly delicious, the sticky rice was soft and sweet (from the sweetened condensed milk as well) and the banana in the middle shined through.
-thai iced tea: the first two that came were underwhelming, like it was too diluted or they forgot to add the sweetened condensed milk. We ordered three more later on and you can see the visible difference (there was a layer of the tea plus the layer of the sweetened condensed milk) and flavor wise, it tasted much better as well.
