I highly recommend the bun rieu - the broth is rich, hearty and they are generous with their crab meat + shrimp and all the other good good things in there. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer.
We also had their banh xeo, stir fry beef with fried rice, lobster and flan. I would especially recommend the stir fry beef - it was really excellent.
This place has heart, the service is fast, and the prices are reasonable.

Legendary place apparently and I am glad I found it. The noodles with pork were delicious as authentic as you can get. They also had tripe in there. The meat spring rolls that come with lettuce are a must order. The pan fried dumplings were delicious as well The special fried rice was ok. The food is affordable as well which makes it even better. So good. Check it out!

Amazing food & quick service! We got beef combination pho, bun bo hue, pasteur classic banh mi, fried pork rolls & shrimp. Everything was so good, and this restaurant is now one of our top to-go spots in NYC

Along side of 2 other Vietnamese restaurants next door, they serve standardized Vietnamese fare.
One thing that stood out, they have a Pho that contains ox-tail, and I love ox-tail so that was somewhat of a plus for me and unique; its slightly higher if I recall, $15+ for the Ox-Tail pho.
I will say, their sandwich is probably the least favorite among all of the other Viet places nearby.

You don’t have to eat Chinese food when in Chinatown. Pasteur offers tasty Vietnamese fare at reasonable prices. The grilled pork chop, in particular, was so tender. The accompanying sides in the combination platter ($14) may not be all to your liking but contrast nicely in texture and flavor. The summer rolls ($7) were decent but could have benefited from extra brightness and crunch).
