Simple, authentic Pho without any bullsh#t! It's just pure, comforting broth that warms the soul. The large serving is generous enough to satisfy both me and my girlfriend. While the banhmi is fresh and flavorful, it can be a bit challenging to bite into. The spring rolls are a bit greasy, but if you're here for the Pho, you won't be disappointed. Bonus: the Vietnamese ice coffee is a good choice to cleanse the palette.

I come here for the garlic calamari which is served over a delightful salad. I dream about this dish that I can’t seem to find anywhere else.

I’ve been here since I was a little kid going to the doctors in Chinatown with family and ten years later it’s still as amazing and tasty as ever. Good food and service as well as super authentic without any pretentious additions or spin-offs you see in modern day Vietnamese restaurants. Spring rolls wrapped in lettuce are crazy amazing. Review is short because there’s not much to say just come and try it. Plus prices are very reasonable.

Small location with delicious food. I got the curry chicken noodle soup and was delighted by the amount of fresh herbs used. Each mouthful was an explosion of flavor. Will definitely be back on my next trip.

Overall rating: 4.7 Love this hole in a wall spot in Chinatown. It’s so easy to be overlooked so please go!! My friend was craving Vietnamese food & found this spot with some searching. I think he got either the pho or some other traditional dish and didn’t really like it. But! I got this beef rice pictured and it was soo good! The FLAVOR OMG. I’m shocked. I had to stop eating some so I can take it to go for the next day. And it was very hard to do! The portion was also great and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I love this place, I’ve been going there for well over a decade. Fist with my wife and then as a family with our kids. I’m a native New Yorker, I love places that stay consistent and survive through all the changes with great service and excellent food. Bring your friends, partner, and family, this place works for all, and get a taste of a old school New York that’s rapidly disappearing! Definitely Recommend!

Nha Trang One, a hidden gem in the culinary world, holds the essence of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Nestled away, this hole in the wall restaurant has become our Sunday afternoon ritual. Seating was a breeze, even during peak hours. The staff is welcoming, and we were promptly seated, setting the tone for an enjoyable experience. The shrimp rolls, a delightful appetizer, arrived in a flash. At just $9, they were a pocket-friendly treat. The freshness and succulence of the shrimp combined with the delicate rice paper wrapping were a delightful start to our meal. While the iced Vietnamese coffee had potential, it didn't quite hit the mark. At $5, it lacked the creamy richness that makes this beverage special. The coffee was strong, but the condensed milk flavor was strangely absent. The standout of our meal was unquestionably the Bún thịt nướng. Priced at $13.95, it was a symphony of flavors. This dish featured tender pork, fragrant fresh herbs, and the irresistible crunch of fried spring rolls. The balance of sweet, savory, and aromatic notes was impeccable, making each bite a culinary adventure. My companion opted for the Pho Do Bien, a seafood rice noodle soup priced at $12.95. It brimmed with an array of seafood, but the broth, while good, lacked the depth of flavor that could have elevated it to greatness. A longer simmering of the stock to infuse more seafood essence would have been appreciated. After indulging in these flavorful dishes, we left Nha Trang One fully satisfied and with our wallets only slightly lighter. The service was swift, and the ambiance, though modest, exuded a cozy charm that added to the overall experience. In conclusion, Nha Trang One is a testament to the richness of Vietnamese cuisine. While the iced coffee left something to be desired, the shrimp rolls and the Bún thịt nướng were undeniable stars of the show. Prices were reasonable, and the friendly service ensured we left with contented smiles, eager to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu.

The food was delicious, I ordered beef pho hoping that it was going to be a good choice, and it was, the meat was just how I like. The broth has the right amount of flavor, and I also ordered shrimp fresh rolls also delicious I just wish the peanut sauce were more flavored

Visited Nha Trang One just before closing. Ordered the shrimp summer rolls, but they arrived suspiciously fast and were just okay. The peanut sauce was disappointingly watery. Tried the Bo Nuong Lui, barbecued beef wrapped in lettuce, which was decent, though the beef tasted more like a kebab. It was an okay experience; not sure if I’d return.
