Burger & Barrel Winepub is an excellent burger joint that also offers impressive wine pairings to satiate your palate. As standard with any Jeff Capon owned restaurant, everything on the menu has been crafted to be memorable and worthy of your precious tummy space. No item on the menu is merely present to “check the box”, so when you find the Fried Chicken sandwich or Prime Rib starting back at you, it’s totally safe to devour something that isn’t the burger. I highly recommend the Kung Pow Chicken Lollipops for starters, they have an unbelievable tang flavor that accompanies the slight heat that the appetizer presents. The Kung Pow sauce is divine and it’s a very tasty preamble to begin your dining experience. You’ll be shocked to hear that the burgers are noteworthy. First off, I’m a fan of any establishment that uses Pat LaFrieda beef because it’s a clear sign that the establishment is committed to quality. As for their slew of burgers, all are solid but B&B has built a reputation around the city for it’s Bash Burger. The burger has been named a 6x New York Wine & Food Festival Winner for best burger. This magic stems from the flavorful, juicy, well salted meat which is mouthwatering to the scent and scrumptious to the bite. The Bash Burger is graced with caramelized onions, bacon jam, gooey American cheese and their special sauce served on brioche bun. It’s a great tasting burger, my only reservation is the bun to meat ratio which I feel could be improved to favore the beef. Regardless, the flavor and quality are ever present and you won't be disappointed. If you’re looking for a burger with more heft, try the Double Barrel burger which comes with two meat patties. As a final touch, all of the burgers are served with a few onion rings for good measure and a healthy portion of crispy fries. It’s awesome. Burger & Barrel Winepub is a great burger alternative in a city that is saturated in burger options that differentiates itself with a well balanced menu. Don’t sleep on the sensational number of wines to pair with your meal, they know their wines. B&B is great for a casual dinner that offers a tad more elegance than your traditional burger joint.

Ordered the Double Barrel (double hamburger) with a side of the Rosemary Tater Tots. The burger was on the saltier side. Probably would of been better had it been only a single. But the overall burger was a great combo. The fried onions, pickles, and sauce paired well with the sesame bun. The bun was great kept everything in place and tasted really good with the party minus the saltiness. Tater Tots were really good. Service was great. And we got seated right away.

Such a good spot for lunch. Very family friendly place with a wine pub. We paired this with a soft red wine that went amazing with the octopus salad and steak. For perspective on price we had two cups of wine, the octopus salad, 2x steak and fries and paid $136. Sounds about right for a NYC dinner for two. The service was fast and extremely friendly. I 100% recommend making this a stop for a cute $$ dinner for two.

Stopped into happy hour before a show at Skirball Center. Two apps and a bash burger with fries each was plenty for the two of us. Took plenty home. Seating in the bar has good lighting to see and read the menu.

Great restaurant! The food is delicious, especially the burgers. I tried both the meat and the veggie burger. They really know how to make them. I have also tried heir brunch menu. Overall the menu is simple and I think this is a good sign. The staff is very attentive and super nice. Stop by and try some of their dishes.

I really like how this place gives off a fancy yet warm atmosphere. I actually stopped here to use the restroom but I feel bad because a place like this doesn't deserve to be short-changed like that. Jasmine is pretty chill as I can tell on how attentive she is at her work. Give her a promotion, I say. Anyway, their food is pretty good because I ordered some fries as my way of saying thanks. I do feel a positive aura from the staff and just by looking around, the place is well-cared for and very clean. I'm glad I stumbled in here and it did gave me a new recommendation for anyone who just wants to have a nice time in the night.

Great value in the bottomless brunch (although the Bloody Mary (-ies) we tried we’re rather bland. The burgers are good and the place neat and tidy. Great desserts too. Recommend trying the grilled avocado bowl.

The atmosphere of the place is candlelit, romantic type. Would be great for anniversaries or dates. The steak was great, delicious and juicy. I also got the meatballs, they were good. We also got the spiked vanilla milkshake and ice cream apple crumble, which was great. I would definitely go again.

Nice place. The endless brunch is a good buy if you're ready to have a few. Great steak and eggs. Mimosas were nice. The bloody Mary's were strong! Not in the alcohol part, but in the spice! Nice! Most play are too scared to spice it up, not this place. Worth a visit.

Ok, so I gave my co worker a lot of grief for recommending this place for lunch since I was not ready to pay $27 for a burger. He never went, and didn't look at a menu ahead of time; therefore, we didn't know what kind of price range to expect. Mistakes aside, this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The lamb burger was so juicy, I drool thinking about it.
