The Stagecoach Tavern

Your classic American-style eatery with an elegant restaurant appeal. Though the prices are admittedly a bit higher for the type of cuisine, the portions are very filling and can easily be shared. If you're a visitor looking to try American Cuisine, really just stick to the burgers, other entrees aren't really worth the price. Yet the staff is very accommodating and welcoming, great dining experience overall.

A lovely little sports bar in the heart of Manhattan. From the window seat, you've got a gorgeous view of Times Square. Me and my dad went for dinner on our first night in New York and were very pleased with what we received. Excellent service from a lovely Irish server, the food came out quick and to a very high standard (we got the burgers, gorgeous!) and a very relaxed atmosphere. Prices were about standard for New York, maybe slightly cheaper. Worth every penny. Will definitely be back soon.

What a great surprise! We had planned on going full on tourist and go to Ellen’s Stardust Diner. However, the line that wrapped completely around the block for the hour + wait for their average food with marked up prices wasn’t going to cut it for me. Therefore, my daughter and I kept walking and she saw your sign. She just said “The Stagecoach Tavern...lets go there” and I said we can try and lo and behold we were greeted with a hello, how many? And were immediately seated. I was going to grab a burger until I saw your amazing brunch offerings. A full Irish breakfast? Of course! The price was very good too considering it is NYC. Our food arrived and we were not disappointed in the least! Plenty of food for sure. The one minor detail is that my hash browns were a hash brown like you get at MCD...but as my daughter pointed out “but they look real good though...nice and crispy” and I have to admit she was right. Soo good all around! All the employees were very nice, and even the bathroom was nice! We weren’t rushed; it was a great relaxed ambiance. I did note to my daughter that: we sat, ate a nice relaxed breakfast, paid, and left while those other folks at Ellen’s were still in line, and when they do get their food it won’t be as good! We would definitely come here again!

Great staff, delicious food, family oriented! From the minute we entered the door everyone was so accommodating and friendly. I was thrilled to see a changing table in the bathroom! In this day and age it is still a rare find. The food was delicious! I had the shepherds pie. I wanted another . Was a great way to start our day!
