Fish is always excellent quality! Love the hamachi Kama. Service is hit or miss. Some staff are lovely and others are… not. Will keep visiting and keep fingers crossed our server will be in a good mood. Ha.

Best local sushiya in UWS. Go for the lunch special, they have really great sushi choices. Their omakase is also affordable and fresh!

Amazing sushi. Beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. The fish was so fresh and there wasn’t a piece I didn’t enjoy. I got the sushi deluxe. You choose a roll and the chef decides 9 pieces of nigiri for you. They did ask if I was ok with eel before selecting. Definitely recommend!

Best sushi in my life. Really worthy. We took takeaway to Central Park for picnic. Fish is so fresh and delicious. Will recommend to everyone!

Sushi seems easy, but Sushi Yasaka does it well and consistently. The choices of fish is consistently good mix of red and white fish. The quality of fish is consistently good. For the night I just want to same old good quality sushi take out Sushi Yasaka is consistently good.
Tip: You can order takeout form their own website. No extra cut.

Sushi Yasaka is a popular Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. It is worth the wait, but sometimes it gets very busy. I wish the tempura ice cream was made/ fried fresh.

Delicious high quality ingredients, authentic preparations, very reasonable prices. The lunch menu offered all days of the week is a fantastic deal! For under $20 a person you can have a delicious meal for whatever you are craving in the moment whether that's sushi, sashimi, chirashi, soba noodles, or a bunch of other bento box options.The cold soba noodles were perfectly bouncy with a delicious dipping broth on the side. The sushi combo had a bunch of high quality cuts including the fatty tuna and king salmon with seared skin.
