Nerai Greek restaurant in Midtown Manhattan is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The food at Nerai is nothing short of exceptional. Their menu showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Greek cuisine, with a modern twist that truly elevates each dish. Whether you're a fan of traditional Greek or looking to explore new flavors, Nerai has something for every palate. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and the kitchen's skillful preparation shines through in every dish. I loved the branzino and what they call crackers. Also the Greek salad was delicious! One standout aspect of Nerai's dining experience is the impeccable presentation. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.

It’s great, their food and atmosphere. I had TUNA TARTARE and SEAFOOD ORZOTTO. Especially, seafood orzotto was nice smell from mussels and shrimp then great flavor. Also, orzo was good texture. I love it.

"A Memorable Celebration at Nerai for Mom's 80th Birthday" Last weekend, we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday at Nerai and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the warm ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant's decor, with its elegant lighting and tasteful furnishings, created a serene environment that was exactly what we were hoping for. What stood out the most was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive yet unobtrusive, ensuring our comfort throughout the meal. They even surprised us with a special birthday treat for Mom, which was a thoughtful gesture that made her feel extra special. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a masterpiece, both in presentation and taste. The menu offered a variety of options catering to different preferences, and every dish we tried was cooked to perfection. The flavors were balanced and the ingredients were obviously high-quality. One of the highlights was the restaurant's ability to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Despite being busy, it never felt crowded or noisy. This allowed us to enjoy our conversations and truly celebrate this milestone birthday in a relaxed setting. In summary, Nerai exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening filled with delicious food, exceptional service, and a tranquil ambiance. It was an absolute delight to celebrate such a special occasion here, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Food here was so good it was mind blowing. I’m shocked there wasn’t a line to get in because this is some of the best Greek food in the city. I’m gluten free and the waiter recommended the salmon with a lemon spinach rice, which was amazing and can’t stop thinking about, and some other dishes, and noted almost all the seafood was celiac safe. There are tons of gluten free options. The mushroom and spinach sides are also gluten free as well as the salads sans croutons, so is the raw bar. They also recommended a Greek organe wine that was so delicious I need to save the name. I’m definitely coming back and trying more on the menu because it’s definitely worth returning!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nerai, a Greek restaurant located in the heart of the city. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a modern twist on traditional Greek elements. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the design, from the elegant lighting fixtures to the comfortable seating arrangements. It's clear that the owners have put a lot of thought into creating a space that is both visually appealing and inviting. Now let's talk about the food. The menu at Nerai offers a wide variety of traditional Greek dishes, all made with the freshest ingredients. From the classic moussaka to the mouthwatering souvlaki, every dish I tried was bursting with flavor. The presentation of each plate was also impeccable, with vibrant colors and artistic arrangements that truly showcased the culinary skills of the chefs. One standout dish that I have to mention is the grilled octopus. It was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, with a smoky charred exterior that added a depth of flavor. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. The service at Nerai was top-notch. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had about the menu. They were also efficient in their service, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. To complement the delicious food, Nerai offers an extensive wine list featuring both Greek and international selections. The sommelier was helpful in guiding me towards the perfect wine pairing for my meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. Overall, my experience at Nerai was exceptional. From the beautiful ambiance to the delectable food and impeccable service, every aspect of my visit exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Nerai to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic Greek dining experience.

Food and service were top notch! Staff was really knowledgeable and attentive which Gia a huge plus in my opinion. Delicious dishes we tried the Lavraki & Salmon both were exquisite and the drinks were amazing so overall great experience! Tried a few drinks old fashioned was great, smoked banana was exotic and strawberry Basil all were winners. Appetizers were also delicious we had the saganaki and zucchini chips! Definitely worth trying, highly recommend!

Nerai is amazing- elevated Greek food in NYC. From the moment you enter the doors, you're greeted with warmth and kindness. I dined with my family including my elderly mother, and the service was so helpful and accommodating while not being stifling. We ate inside, but the outside seating looks magical, definitely would have opted for an outdoor table if I was with friends. The food was incredible. This might have been one of the best lamb chops I've had in NYC. The whole roasted fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, I could eat it for every meal. Thank you Nerai, we will be back!
