Through The Grapevine

I had both my wedding ceremony and wedding reception at Through the Grapevine in Murfreesboro. The whole experience was amazing. Barbara helped with literally everything. She helped us decorate, fine the perfect arrangements for the room, she supplied our food (brunch themed) and made sure everything ran smoothly. She allowed us to come the night before the wedding and helped us set up the room perfectly. The day of the wedding she made sure things ran smoothly and made sure the food never ran out. I definitely recommend having your small, intimate wedding here. I had about 30-40 people and it was perfect. The building and the adjoining cafe were also PERFECT for pictures! Highly recommend!!!

I attended an event here and the food was good, not great, but good. However, the service was rude. While the speaker was presenting, the wait staff (only two people) began taking up dishes and clearing the buffet table. We could not hear the person we had come to hear. It was distracting and unnecessary. If you plan to have an event here, be sure to tell the wait staff that your event is important and people have come specifically for the presentation. They seem to care more about their time than their paying customers.

I have been a customer of TTG for years. I have been coming since I was young, and never really had an issue, but today was different. The food was wonderful as always, BUT the service was very rude. My co-worker called to ask some questions, and the person on the phone was very hateful, and you could hear her frustration (with him just asking a question) through the receiver and I was several feet away from him. Then, when we went in we were not greeted with a hello or anything, we were just looked at, which is very out of the way, and it was the owner who had answered the phone and did not greet us. I was just very discouraged because I love TTG, but the service today was lacking, and I took people who had never been there before, and who will never be back due to this experience.
