Chill casual atmosphere where jaffles rule the menu. Order at the counter and sit where you want. Get your own water and cutlery if you feel you need them. I got the egg and bacon jaffle and a latte. There is no pomp to the food or environment.

Love everything about it and the food is amazing I would see budhha from time to time when at my mums work and he is the kindest overall great place 100% recommended.

Coffee good, music great, decor cool with great art on display. Was nice and warm..... the food - expected better. Ordered Poutine fries as I don't see them too often on menu's, unfortunately the fries looked like the supermarket crinkle cut variety and not made in house and not overly appealing to the eye and a tasted a little bland. Poutine needs a beef base gravy, cheese curds and crisp fries. This wasn't that. However, other food on the tables looked pretty good.

Finally got a chance to visit Smug Relish, and I wasn't disappointed. I had a lovely breakfast and a nutella hot chocolate that were both very delicious, the coffee I took home for my boyfriend was awesome (he told me it was very enjoyable, and he's a picky bugger).
In addition to the wonderful food, the service was great. I had a nice chat with the barista, and you are not disturbed after you have ordered. I'll be going back eventually, it's a great cafe.

Very pleasant with friendly helpful staff. Quite spacious with lots of options including outside. Coffee is great. A well equipped kids play area well.

Have been living in B East for a year and just discovered these jaffles! Talk about a taste of home. Absolutely sensational I may have gotten them two days in a row. Sensational!

Coffee was superb, pineapple juice guh, bacon/lettuce/tomato/avo toastie delightfully humble and had such a satisfying cross-section cut, very no fuss and super cute vibe, and the sweetest staff
