The one in Mareeba is an interesting place to visit. The aroma of the roasted coffee hits me as soon as we entered. The flat white tastes nice, with robust flavours. And the shop sells lots of interesting trinkets. The chocolate taste nice.

What a neat place to visit! The coffee geek in Ewan was in heaven! Amazing coffee museum and a gift shop for all things coffee. Also and most importantly, good coffee.

Probably one of the best iced mocha I had here. Really good choices for coffee as well as chocolates.

They have the BEST coffee I've ever tasted!! It is perfectly sweet and not too bitter, very smooth. It is just amazing! I very much recommend having a medium or large mocha as it will be one of the best things you'll ever taste! They are doing something right with their coffee beans. I love the coffee here. I would very much drive from Cairns just for the coffee, it is worth it.

Friendly staff. Great coffee. Perfect temperature. If you like it hot, ask for it hot. If I was ordering a coffee here for a grey nomad I would ask for it hot. Otherwise, the coffee temperature is perfect. A lot of unfair reviews on here. Almost made me not stop. Glad I did. Nice garden setting. A great little local business that the owners should be proud of.

I'm a tourist from Brisbane. It's bloody hot here, but I just had the nicest chilled Strawberry milkshake and a bloody good ham & cheese toasty!
Not to mention the customer service is gold standard 👌 we even got some complimentary liqueurs!

Been living in Cairns for over 25 years and have taken many friends from overseas and interstate to the Coffee Works.. The last time was the worst however and I don't feel like I ever want to come back.
The young girls behind the coffee counter seem to have beef over who you can order coffee with.. We rudely got told the other staff member was taking our orders so we bravely did.
Then we got told to get out of the garden as we have two little dogs with us.. This is ok.. I understand some places have rules like that even though we got seated on the other side of the timber fence not a few metres away while there was no one there.. Strange..
Worst thing however was when my friend asked for sugar once our coffee was served. Wow.. How did we dare ask for sugar? How many?!!
Won't visit again as it is a long drive and there are many lovely coffee places around where they are happy to have customers.
Denigrating staff.. Unpleasant experience..
Picture: no one In this garden but get out! 😄

We visited the coffee museum at the rear of the cafe and gift rooms. What a wonderful collection of coffee related items and well displayed history of coffee production and consumption. A real eye opener. We spent over an hour exploring and learning.
