Great bar, day or night. Cocktails are fantastic, however the one with tequila and kiwi is always out of kiwi puree, every time I go, so yet to try. They have a fantastic range of beers on tap (the cherry one is delicious). The little smoking area out back has a heater, which is useful when the bar is busy and loud at night and you want to chat. There's another outdoor seating area, at the front, but I believe it is heaterless, good for summer people watching, bad for winter. Loads of seating inside, but it does get busy.

This place is so underrated for food! I just came here for drinks with my girlfriends as the serve a cherry beer that we love and we can’t find anywhere else in Manchester. I came for lunch for a friend as they have a really good lunch deal for £10: what a surprise!!!! I had an incredible crab meat sandwich with a horseradish mayonnaise: the crab was so fresh and the mayo was spicy but really well balanced. The roasted sweet potatoes were amazing and I love the Persian influence of dukkah and middle east spices. I will definitely will be back for food as the quality price is excellent for what you get.

Went on a Sunday afternoon so experienced the Sunday menu. I ordered a grilled steak with salad, bread and a roast potato side. My partner ordered a meat platter that included a Barnsley pork chop, Malayian pork belly and chicken wings with chips. Food was delicious and bill only came to £33 for both meals, a latte and a juice drink. Definitely want to go back to try the weekday menu!

Went for Saturday lunch and was very happy. The food is unusual, delicious and still healthy. It is good quality food and reasonably priced. I only had water so I don't know if the drinks are well priced. The only reason it's not 5 star is that although the staff are friendly, the service outside was quite patchy. Nonetheless, would recommend highly, and will be back.

Came here for lunch last Saturday and had a good time, no staff acknowledged us when we walked in after waiting 60 seconds (doesn’t sound like long but standing by the front door for this amount feels like a long time) so we found a table and sat down ourselves. After looking through the menu for about 10-15 minutes and deciding what we wanted still no staff approached us and we couldn’t get ones attention so I ordered food and drinks up at the bar. When I was doing so another member of staff went over to our table and asked my friend for his order. We ordered the Persian Winter Stew as well as the Spatchcock Chicken with sides of Roast Sweet Potato and Papaya & Fennel Slaw with a couple big wave pints. Food was really nice and filling and we would definitely come back again, I’d hope the staff are more present or there are more of them next time. The men’s toilets need to have a mirror too.
