Good tasty food at reasonable prices. Loads of dips with the popodoms. Service was quick and efficient although there were a few spills (other customers) Tandoori prawn starter very good, as was the lamb main. Sizzling platters look and smell great Nice open kitchen at the back where you can watch your meal being prepared

Visited 19/03/2022, good size enclosed waiting area (heated) as you go through first set of doors, seen to very quickly and for a Friday night and restaurant being busy only took 5minutes to be taken through next set of doors into the main dining area and seated for a table of 4. The service was attentive and food came at a decent pace considering how busy the establishment was. I would say that the mix grill sizzler was pricey in comparison to other places and don’t get as much as you would portion was , perhaps for the same price and for value offering a version for 2 people similar to what you would find as meat platters elsewhere. The friends stated that their lamb and vegetarian saag paneer dish was good and that the naan and rice were tasty. The menu is limited but the food is tasty so worth a visit if your in the Rusholme area and fancy a venue for the nostalgia of one of the ongoing originals of the infamous curry mile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice staff!<br/><br/>Having read great reviews we decided to try out this place.<br/><br/>We walked in and were immediately asked if we wanted popadoms which we said yes to. We sat to read the menus and asked where the vegan options were. It appeared every dish had cheese in so a waiter bought out some sheets with ingredients lists. As we ate the popadoms we were made aware that there was nothing suitable.<br/><br/>When the waiter came back to take our order we asked for the bill explaining we were unable to eat any of the options. He was full of apology and said there was no need to pay for the popadoms. We thanked him and tried to pay but he insisted.<br/><br/>We then tried to pay another staff member and he was also full of apologies and wouldn’t take payment.<br/><br/>It was such a shame we couldn’t eat there as they were lovely people and obviously have good food.

This was one of the most recommend restaurant when we were roaming in Rushlome and had time to kill. <br/>Rushlome is a hub of Asian people . it's like a home away from home. Crowded and bubbly . <br/>The ambience of this restaurant is great . the food is not so bad either.<br/>Maybe I ll recommend it to people when they ask me where to find spicy Asian food when in Manchester. My wife and I visited this restaurant recently and it was truly awful, not to be visited again.<br/>Only people in the restaurant,mushroom pilau rice was packet rice with burnt fried mushrooms mixed in,an absolute insult.<br/>Main course forgettable,do not go to this restaurant you will regret it.<br/>My blog says Ilike this restaurant ,this is absolutely not true!!!!!!!!!!!<br/>If you want the best curry around visit Indian Spice in Alsager makes Shere Khan look like Fred Carno,s Circus!
