I think I'm like many other people when I say Greggs's food is just right and there for when it's needed.

This review is more serious than others I've made in the past but I believe it's fitting for the scenario I went through. My mum and stopped by before finding our bus stop to get something for me to eat. After purchasing our food we were talking to our cashier and all of a sudden we hear a loud crashing sound, at first we thought it was a storage unit had fallen but our cashier (her name was Ebony) gasped loudly so we all turned around. An elderly woman had falled, face first onto the pavement by the door. Immediately Ebony ran to her and my mum and another man who witnessed it quickly helped the lady sit down. She phoned the ambulance while my mum and the man were stopping her from bleeding too much by using the blue kitchen roll Ebony grabbed while on hold with the emergency services. In total we all stayed there for around 2 hours, the entire time Ebony was making sure everyone was alright and closing the store properly because it was close to closing time when the lady fell. (For anyone wondering, the elderly lady got into a police van and got driven to the hospital because the ambulance would have taken hours longer.)

Great service and only a short wait for 4 coffees and 2 teas. I was even given 2 free sausage rolls when I bought 6. A bit later I was asked t go for more refreshments which they dealt with very efficiently. Another 4 coffees and 2 teas.

I love Greggs. All your comforts are found here. Affordable sausage rolls, vegan sausage rolls and sweet treats. This is my regular place to go now after Percy Ingles have closed. Different areas have different items like the Tottenam cake and London Cheesecake.
