Tayer + Elementary

Cocktails are absolutely delicious. The staff were either wonderful (bouncer and welcoming staff) but the waitress who ended up serving us at the table was super abrupt and frankly just rude. A tallish brunette taking care of the long table on the left side of the room. She refused to give us the snack mix unless we finished the last 3 nuts in the little bowl. A bit of a joke really especially when the kitchen was already closed and we already ordered quite a few drinks between us.

Personally I dont have the credential to comment on their alcohol. But lets speak about the cheesecake. Its an absolutely crazy concoction. Firstly they used blue cheese. what a radical choice yet it enhanced the texture and the strength of the flavours. But not at all overwhelming with the distilled fig ice cream accompanied by the caramelised fruit body at the bottom. Its such a simple dessert but there were so much nuance when you delve into the nitty gritty- the layers of flavours and textures were so delicately made. I loved it:)

This was the 2nd bar in the "Best Bars 2022" list. My expectations were pretty high. The concept of the place is absolute minimalism. All cocktails look very simple, monotone colors(some looks like a glass of water), glasses are simple, really elementary as the name suggests. Cocktails were tasty 100%, but not outstanding. I expected more really. Also we got some snacks, they were tasty too.

Not sure if #2 bar in the world needs a review but here you go: The cocktail menu at Tayer + Elementary is a true work of art. Each drink is thoughtfully crafted with unique flavor combinations and top-notch ingredients. The bartenders demonstrate their mastery, creating concoctions that are both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. Whether you're a seasoned cocktail enthusiast or someone just beginning to explore mixology, the diverse range of libations caters to all tastes. 100% recommended to visit this place!

Incredible cocktails. Had the opportunity to go into the “VIP” area behind the curtain: even better cocktails. The drinks are so well done that the alcohol blends in perfectly with its accompaniments and you’re enjoying the drink without realizing you’re getting drunk! The margarita is an all time favorite. Don’t be frightened as it comes looking like a glass of water 😳 Absolutely need to return when I’m back in London!
