We entered here looking for a quick snack on the way to the museum. The service was quick, but so is the turnover of this place (in 1 hour the restaurant was re-filled with customers twice). Considering that this is a very small place, it felt particularly crowded (but so does the Chinatown itself, always crowded). The food was OK, nothing mind blowing but nothing to complain either.

Well, if you are hungry and would like to eat as much as you can in a fastest way, this restaurant is a good option. For 2 plates and 2 cokes we paid 35P. The food was all ok. No regrets at all..

Disliked almost everything about this place. Limited choice of mediocre, luke warm, dried up Chinese dishes but even worse was the abysmal attitude of the staff. No welcoming, just a demand for “cash only “ - before eating (which was no surprise after tasting it). Who carries much cash nowadays? She absolutely insisted so had to pool together to find the cash. THEN couple sat at next table couldn’t find the “cash” so a card reader magically appeared where they took half cash and rest by card. When I queried this the “waitress” stropped off! A guy came and explained “the battery was low when you came in”. What a load of garbage! Everyone was subjected to a demand for cash and only IF they couldn’t get the cash together were they permitted to pay by card. (Sounds Ike some kind of fiddle to me). To add insult, they have the gall to charge a 10% service charge to the bill! I guess they have to do this as not many people would willingly tip.

Cheapish for London and cheerful Only if I’m desperate and short of money. Limited buffet, no deserts or crispy duck or sushi. Queues for the food and pay before you eat. Works out about to £19 each with one drink and service charge.

Since last time visiting few years ago it was disappointing how basic and flavorless the food was. Would not recommend to someone who loves good food. 🙄

My wife and I went to Chinatown for our lunch date. We normally eat at at Mr Wu around the corner. But read a few reviews on here and decided to try it out. Price was £11.95 pp +10% service charge. We was greeted by a host and seated us by the front door. Not ideal. The group next to us had their bags over our seats. We was an inconvenience to them and the staff didn't care either. Ask for a can of can as it's on the menu only to be told its bottles only. £2.30 a 330ml bottle. I wanted a glass of tap water. They forgot to bring it over. I had to go ask get it. You pay before you eat. Food is 2 sections, meats ( pork, beef, chicken) and sides ( chips, onion rings, noddles, etc) it has approx 10 meat dishes and 8 sides. The beef was a tad rubbery and the chicken was a tad dry. The pork was very good. Especially the sweet and sour Hong Kong style pork. But I'm afraid that was the best part. The restaurant is basic at best. Staff are minimal in interaction. Overall, it's over priced, not welcoming and needs a lot more choice. Walk around the corner to Mr Wu's. Better price, more choice better staff.

What you'd expect from a £10 Chinese Buffet in central London. A small variety of chicken, beef and pork dishes - all perfectly adequate, nothing mind blowing (as is to be expected from an all you can eat buffet). The restaurant seemed to be clean and staff were pleasant enough, with a real focus on a high churn rate of customers (which is fine - it didn't feel like we were being shoed out at any point). We were asked to pay on arrival at the same time as ordering drinks, which suited us as we could leave at our own leisure without having to ask and wait for a bill. All in all a very standard experience, but perfectly fine for ~£15, including a drink.
