I started working in Camberwell 8 months ago and have been going to I Go Chop at least once a week for the past 6 months. So happy I discovered this place, it’s become my favourite place to eat in Camberwell. The Jollof rice with the red stew chilli or mild option is so delicious. I usually get a mix of chilli and mild. When I first ordered the beans, I was expecting simple side of beans but instead got a delicious unique flavour, very well-seasoned. Same thing when I tried the Oga Burrito and fish with Jollof rice, so good. The food at I Go Chop has a perfect blend of herbs and spices. I love this place!

Very small portion and un authentic taste. - However was then contacted by the company and offered an amazing amount of free food delivered to my home, an apology and overall an exceptional customer experience. Would definitely recommend them and the food delivered this time tasted amazing!

The veggie box (jollof rice, plantain, yam and bean stew) is really really great! The okra blended sauce was really spicy and gooey, so the texture was a little strange. But overall a really great place!

Lovely Food and Excellent Service ! The place has colourful decor , variety of food options to choose from. I went for the Gizzard Dodo meal, it was delicious and the spices were blended well and gave it that full flavour. I was served by Toby who was very welcoming and friendly, i will back for some more gizzard and dodo.

Amiable staff, cool decor and yummy food. We tried meal boxes with rice, stew, plantain & beans, plus malt drinks. Great value for money. See you very soon, I Go Chop! P.S. your music selection was great fun as well!

Been here twice now and will definately be back. Friendly service. Thoroughly enjoyed the food both times. Their jollof rice and stew I find so tasty. I love their fish too. There's quite a lot of different options on their menu. Look forward to trying out the other things 👍

Thought I try this place seeing as there has been some hype about it. Lovely layout and clean environment, felt overwhelmed with the many choices however I spoke to a lady behind the counter who was happy to help me. From my knowledge I ordered the burrito with jollof rice, gizzard and plantain and beans. The assistant started to put in a takeaway container and I was like 'what happened to it being in a burrito'? She was polite if anything however I wanted to eat my order there and then they take it away. After paying for my order I thanked her for the service but felt a little short changed as what I wanted to have my order in a burrito!! My food was okay...enjoyed the flavours and freshness of the ingredients. Not sure if I'll be too quick to head there again nevertheless I GO CHOP as great potential to be success and bring authentic African food to south-east London diverse community!!

The yam porridge burrito is incredible. I can't finish one in one go, so it's great value too. Another vegetarian option would be nice, but for now I'm quite happy with the burrito! Shop looks great, and the staff are so friendly. I've got no idea why there are bad reviews mentioning service and food taking ages to come out - you order at the counter and it's prepared in front of you, it's not a sit down restaurant!

The food tastes really great, the quality is good and the portions are a nice size. However i am quite disappointed as i asked for no gizzard with my order however i was given 2 small pieces of beef and a huge piece of gizzard.... Quite annoyed as i was left hungry and the portion of mixed meat was tiny considering i dont eat gizzard.
