Having lived around the corner for ages, I stopped last summer to watch WC matches from the patio, enjoying the good weather and a pint or two. From then on, I started to come every other week to enjoy a meal and the quiet homly atmosphere this pub has. The staff are kind and happy, the food is tasty. What else? Yes, on week days there's live music, bravo!

Great local pub / bar / restaurant. We are lucky to have it and the best (re)incarnation of the old Ship pub. Wines can be expensive - but beer prices average for London. Have had some very pleasant meals here too. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional. As a (relative) oldie my only small criticisms are that it's very dark in the evening and the evenong music can be a bit too "clubmix", - but I am old!

We had visitors and decide to go for a dinner out in a local pub as they were visiting from another country. It was a very pleasant surprise. Food was more than decent and very nicely cooked. Nice beer and very friendly staff. I think it became my neighbourhood's favorite. But guys better let the charcoal go from the burger ban. I think it is not that great idea after all. It looks cool but the flavour isn't that good.

Finally a classy restaurant with bartenders with knowledge on what they do. Amazing live music and an Amazing owner that treats musicians with respect as it should be. One of the very few places in London that is really worth going for a evening out, some wine, some GREAT fresh food and super live music.

My favorite pub by miles. Family (Dog) friendly. Great selection of beers and spirits. My wife isn't drinking currently, Luca (new owner) made her a lovely virgin cocktail, so good I almost traded in my Jameson. The Sirloin was excellent, quality meat and prepared as requested, better than The Ned, and undoubtedly steps above 'pub food'. Camilla welcomed our dogs, bringing them water and treats. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.

Very happy customer. The pub does great food (really good for people with complex dietary requirements as they'll happily take orders improvising around the menu). The staff are super friendly, they make everyone feel like family, and they really know their wine! Honestly one of the best run pubs in London!

Always a pleasure to visit here, especially with kids! Sugar always makes us feel so welcome and my little girl gets so excited to visit. They always take the time to make kids feel special. Our favourite haunt.
