Dairy Queen (treat)

I love this location. I wouldn't say they're perfect, but they're ok for me if I average my overall visit so far. There are times that my toppings are not mixed well, but I can only count these instances with my fingers. Most of the time, everything are as expected. I don't like to talk much or stare at people, but there is this older man here. I usually order late and more than half of my visit he is there. Too bad I didn't know his name, i don't recall him smiling or overzealous, but he doesn't need to. I imagined him tired for working till evening, yet he looks ok, unlike other service crew that may or may not be working here, and you can tell in their face they're tired. He reminds me of my grandpa, and it makes me feel light and happy every time he receives our order. I usually add some toppings, and he always gets it right.

I have chosen to update my review because i have recently started going back to this location and have been pleasantly surprised. The man working there is a lot more chipper and is now pleasant. My icecream has been delicious everytime. I don’t know how it changed but it did and now i can confidently recommend this place.

I asked for a cheeseburger and was informed that they don't serve that stuff and only have a microwave hotdog lol I learned that there are "Treat" locations which seem to mostly serve frozen foods (like ice cream) and "Treat and Food" locations which is what I wanted. I liked the "No Bit-Coin" notice on the drive-thru speaker. I didn't even order the food but they made me laugh so 5 stars. Would go back if I wanted something frozen. Honesty is good.

I've gotten ice cream here before and it's been good. But I wanted to take the time to make a review and thank them again for the awesome job they did decorating a cake for my dad's birthday. I dont if everyone is on dqs frozen cakes but they're amazing. Plus they can decorate it on the spot. Which they did a great job on my dad's cake. My family always last minute on parties so dq has saved me a quite a few times.

i’ve never had a problem with this location, i’ve actually been going to this one for almost 11 years now (previously at his other building a small walk away). the owner is nothing but kind, and from what i’ve seen the customers are so rude to him and all the other workers. the ice cream is always good, it’s a nice treat to get every once in awhile, no matter the time of year

This is the best Dairy Queen. For the comments below talking about the older gentleman, he is the owner and very nice. Yesterday I decided to go for my usual and it was about 10:30pm. I was wondering why the drive thru line was not moving and why so many people were standing in line. This is because the owner, the older gentleman was working by himself! Can you imagine how overwhelming that must be?! He could have closed early but he did his best to get everyone’s orders. Everyone in the line were nice. They said it is well worth the wait. I agreed. Kindness goes a long way. The owner has always been polite to me. I highly recommend!

This is based off a walk up order experience: we went at 7 pm for dessert and got our order immediately. The ice cream was what we ordered and they flip the blizzard upside down. The staff is not overly friendly but we got our ice cream, and it is more of a walk up and order restaurant than a sit down place.
